Red Hat Developer Lightspeed for Red Hat Developer Hub acts as a virtual assistant for non-coding tasks, accessible through a chat interface in the console. The bring-your-own-model flexibility allows teams to select preferred LLMs, optimizing for performance, cost, and privacy in enterprise environments.

Complementing Lightspeed's refactoring capabilities, the newly released migration toolkit for applications 8 (MTA 8) automates replatforming to Red Hat OpenShift, beginning with Cloud Foundry migrations. By generating deployment artifacts automatically, MTA 8 minimizes manual, error-prone processes, enhancing ROI in modernization initiatives and combining seamlessly with AI-driven code solutions for end-to-end efficiency.
