New Relic announced a suite of integrations designed to embed its intelligent observability insights directly into AWS AI services. The integrations include an MCP Server connection to AWS DevOps Agent and Amazon Quick Suite for automated incident response, a link to the Amazon Q index for business context, and the launch of Security RX Cloud to unify security posture management within developer workflows.
New Relic integrates its MCP Server with AWS DevOps Agent & Amazon Quick Suite for automated incident insights.
New Relic AI now sources enterprise data from the Amazon Q index to provide business impact context during incidents.
The launch of Security RX Cloud unifies security insights and automates IaC vulnerability remediation in AWS workflows.
New Relic Monitoring for SAP Solutions is now available in AWS Marketplace with a native connector.
The goal is to reduce manual toil, speed up incident resolution (MTTR), and provide a unified view of technical and business impact.
These integrations aim to make observability insights actionable directly within the tools engineers and agents use.
New Relic's Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server integration allows AWS AI agents to directly access detailed observability data. When an alert fires, the AWS DevOps Agent or Amazon Quick Suite can call the New Relic MCP Server, which returns intelligent insights like root cause analysis and business context. This enables the AI agent to propose and execute mitigation actions more effectively, reducing manual investigation and speeding up resolution.
To bridge the gap between technical failures and business outcomes, New Relic AI now integrates with the Amazon Q index. This allows New Relic's AI to pull relevant enterprise data—such as deployment notes, playbooks, or compliance guardrails—when responding to an engineer's query during an incident. This provides a complete picture of both technical root cause and business impact in a single interface.
New Relic unveiled Security RX Cloud, an agentic integration that brings security posture management directly into developer workflows on AWS. It provides a unified view of cloud resources, misconfigurations, and application vulnerabilities, contextualizing findings with runtime data. It also allows teams to automate the remediation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities directly from the AWS console or CLI, improving collaboration between DevOps and DevSecOps.
Further deepening its AWS presence, New Relic announced that its Monitoring for SAP Solutions is now available in AWS Marketplace. The offering features a native connector for SAP systems, providing observability without requiring agent deployment within the SAP environment itself, aimed at reducing business process interruptions.
These integrations position New Relic as a critical data provider for the growing ecosystem of AI-driven operations on AWS, ensuring observability insights are not siloed but are instead embedded into the automated workflows and agentic systems that are shaping the future of IT operations.
