Nebius has unveiled Nebius AI Cloud 3.5, the latest update to its full-stack “Aether” platform. The release introduces serverless AI capabilities that allow developers to build, run, and scale AI workloads without managing underlying infrastructure, significantly reducing operational friction.

Quick Intel

  • Nebius AI Cloud 3.5 adds serverless AI features for instant workload launching and simplified access to accelerated compute.
  • The platform now supports NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU for AI inference, robotics, simulations, and drug discovery.
  • New Data Transfer Service simplifies data migration and replication between Nebius cloud and external S3-compatible storage.
  • Managed Soperator configuration has been enhanced with greater granularity for Slurm-on-Kubernetes clusters.
  • The AI application marketplace has been redesigned for faster access to tools and models.
  • Additional platform improvements include better user administration, role-based permissions, and public APIs for billing data.

The introduction of serverless features enables AI teams to launch workloads almost instantly, eliminating time spent on infrastructure configuration. The Nebius platform handles setup and runtime management, allowing developers to focus on building and shipping AI applications rather than managing environments.

Alongside serverless capabilities, Nebius is expanding its GPU offerings with the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition. This GPU supports a wide range of workloads, including AI inference, industrial robotics, physical AI simulations, visual computing, engineering research, and drug discovery.

Key New Capabilities in Nebius AI Cloud 3.5

Serverless AI

Nebius now offers elastic, pay-as-you-go compute accelerated by NVIDIA. This simplifies access to AI workloads for prototyping, experimentation, and model inference evaluation without the need to manage infrastructure.

NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition

The new GPU option is designed for cost-efficient AI inference and simulation-heavy workloads across industrial robotics, physical AI, visual computing, and drug discovery.

Data Transfer Service

A user-friendly tool that simplifies data transfer and replication between Nebius regions and external S3-compatible object storage systems, reducing data management overhead for multi-environment teams.

Enhanced Managed Soperator

The fully managed Slurm-on-Kubernetes solution now features an updated cluster configuration wizard with more options and granularity for self-service users.

Platform Enhancements

Additional updates include improved navigation in the AI/ML application marketplace, enhanced disk encryption, boot image management, Kubernetes-level observability, expanded user administration controls, and public APIs for exporting billing data.

All features in Aether 3.5 are available now on the global Nebius AI Cloud infrastructure. The serverless service is currently in public preview, while the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition is available immediately.
