Adam Selipsky joins KKR to advise on strategy, capital allocation, and governance for its $179 billion Real Assets business, with a focus on digital infrastructure for AI. His role will involve working closely with portfolio company CEOs to accelerate growth and enhance value creation in data centers, fiber, and energy sectors critical for scaling AI globally. With over 20 years of executive experience, Selipsky is a recognized leader in cloud and enterprise technology. At AWS, he helped scale the platform from a startup to a $100 billion revenue business, serving as the backbone of the modern digital economy. He also led Tableau through its $15.7 billion acquisition by Salesforce, successfully transitioning it to a cloud-based model. Selipsky’s expertise in scaling mission-critical infrastructure positions him to drive KKR’s AI-focused investments.

KKR has invested $42 billion in digital infrastructure across 23 investments, including five data center platforms with over 155 facilities and a 15GW development pipeline, twelve fiber platforms reaching nearly 30 million homes, and over 130,000 wireless infrastructure sites. Recent milestones include the recapitalization of Metronet, an investment in Gulf Data Hub, and a multi-billion-dollar data center development in Texas with CyrusOne and Calpine.
Adam Selipsky most recently served as CEO of AWS, scaling it into a $100 billion business. He previously led AWS marketing, sales, and support from 2005-2016 and was CEO of Tableau, guiding its $15.7 billion acquisition by Salesforce. Selipsky holds an AB in Government and an MBA from Harvard University and serves on the board of Circle Internet, the HBS Board of Dean’s Advisors, and FIFA’s Seattle World Cup 2026.
