Insurity, a leading software provider for the property and casualty insurance industry, has announced the appointment of Jatin Atre as Chief Executive Officer. Atre succeeds Jeff Clarke, who will continue with the company as Executive Chairman. The leadership transition comes as Insurity strengthens its position in the insurance software market, supported by strong customer growth and an accelerated AI-focused product strategy.
The appointment of Jatin Atre marks a strategic leadership transition at Insurity following a period of strong business expansion. The company continues to serve more than 500 carriers and MGAs, including a majority of the top U.S. P&C insurers and leading managing general agents.
The leadership change comes after Insurity recorded its strongest year for new customer acquisitions, signaling continued demand for cloud-based insurance software and modernization solutions.
Under Atre’s leadership as President, Insurity advanced its AI-powered transformation strategy, focusing on core system modernization and product innovation. This included expanded investments in machine learning capabilities, AI-driven workflows, and enhanced customer support infrastructure.
The company also accelerated its product release cadence through major platform updates, introducing improvements in workflow automation, real-time risk intelligence, and lifecycle connectivity across insurance operations.
Insurity has committed $50 million in AI-focused research and development for 2026, with an additional $100 million investment planned over the next two years. These investments are aimed at modernizing core insurance systems and embedding AI across underwriting, claims, and operational workflows.
The company’s strategy focuses on helping insurers reduce operating costs, improve underwriting accuracy, and increase overall profitability through intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making.
Insurity’s AI strategy is designed to directly impact insurer performance metrics, including expense ratios and operational efficiency. By embedding AI into core systems, the company aims to enable carriers to improve execution speed, enhance underwriting precision, and optimize policy lifecycle management.
Recent product releases have introduced AI-enhanced capabilities that support real-time risk assessment, automated workflows, and improved integration across insurance processes.
