  • Aims to combat clinician burnout and improve patient access to timely care.

  • Solution to be previewed at Inovalon’s Empower summit, November 2–4, 2025.

  • Supports over 50,000 healthcare organizations with 92 billion medical events.

Addressing Healthcare Inefficiencies

The partnership between Inovalon and Google Cloud focuses on alleviating the administrative challenges that burden healthcare providers. Prior authorizations, a major contributor to clinician burnout, often delay patient care. Inovalon’s agentic AI solution, currently in development, will intelligently surface payer-specific rules and documentation requirements to streamline these processes. “Inovalon is addressing one of healthcare’s most persistent challenges: the administrative burden,” said Aashima Gupta, global director, Healthcare Strategy & Solutions, Google Cloud.

Leveraging Robust Data and AI

Inovalon’s ONE Platform, powered by the MORE2 Registry, supports over 50,000 healthcare organizations and manages data from 92 billion medical events and 414 million unique lives. Combined with Google Cloud’s AI and machine learning expertise, this collaboration enables the creation of scalable solutions that simplify workflows. “We are excited to collaborate with Google Cloud to overcome the paralyzing administrative requirements that are limiting available patient-care hours and even driving physicians and nurses out of clinical practice,” said Paige Kilian, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of Inovalon.

Enhancing Clinician Focus and Patient Care

The AI-driven solution aims to free healthcare professionals from administrative tasks, allowing them to prioritize patient care. By automating and simplifying prior authorization processes, the platform reduces delays in treatment and mitigates clinician burnout. The initiative aligns with a shared vision to improve healthcare outcomes by enhancing access to care and operational efficiency, as highlighted by both Inovalon and Google Cloud leaders.

Industry Impact and Future Preview

Set to be previewed at Inovalon’s Empower summit in Washington, D.C., from November 2–4, 2025, this solution promises to transform healthcare delivery. Inovalon’s national connectivity and Google Cloud’s AI capabilities facilitate cross-industry collaboration, enabling healthcare organizations to achieve better clinical and financial outcomes at scale. The platform’s development underscores a commitment to leveraging technology to address longstanding healthcare challenges.

Inovalon and Google Cloud’s collaboration marks a significant step toward reducing administrative burdens in healthcare. By harnessing AI and vast data resources, this partnership empowers providers to focus on delivering high-quality, timely patient care, setting a new standard for efficiency in the healthcare industry.
