  • Informatica’s IDMC Summer 2025 release boosts AI-driven data management.

  • Enhanced MDM features improve data enrichment and governance precision.

  • CLAIRE Copilot simplifies data integration with natural language prompts.

  • Expanded connectivity supports Delta tables, Apache Iceberg, and SAP HANA.

  • New GenAI connectors and Recipe Marketplace accelerate AI application development.

  • AI governance tools ensure responsible and compliant AI model deployment.

Advanced Master Data Management for Precision and Speed

The Summer 2025 release introduces significant enhancements to Informatica’s MDM suite, enabling organizations to govern and enrich master data with greater accuracy. The CLAIRE Match Analysis and Explainability feature provides transparency into record matching, allowing users to fine-tune rules without IT intervention using self-service tools and supervised learning for automated accuracy. The Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator automates record validation across Informatica services, third-party sources, and large language models, transforming raw data into reliable assets for better decision-making. Additionally, the Data Catalog Scanner for MDM catalogs assets, maps data lineage, and enforces compliance, reducing silos and preparing data for AI and analytics.

“AI and digital transformation are imperative to business growth, but these efforts are only as strong as the data behind them,” said Kelle Fontenot, Chief Digital Officer at KPMG. “Whether it’s building a report or utilizing the most advanced Generative AI model, access to trusted data is critical to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.”

Streamlined Data Integration with CLAIRE Copilot

Informatica’s CLAIRE Copilot for Data Integration, announced at Informatica World in May 2025, simplifies pipeline development with natural language prompts and smart execution recommendations. The Summer 2025 release adds interactive Q&A capabilities, enabling users to access product guidance directly from documentation. Expanded connectivity to Delta tables in Microsoft Fabric, Apache Iceberg, and log-based CDC for SAP HANA ensures seamless data flow across cloud platforms, enhancing scalability and efficiency for AI-driven use cases.

Enhanced iPaaS for AI-Friendly Integration

The iPaaS enhancements make Informatica’s platform more flexible and AI-ready. Support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers allows customers to connect IDMC assets to AI agents, improving accuracy and reducing integration time. New GenAI connectors for NVIDIA NIM, Databricks Mosaic AI, and Snowflake Cortex AI simplify integration with popular AI tools. The Recipe Marketplace enables users to share reusable workflow templates, supporting GenAI use cases like image generation and business automation tasks such as Netsuite-Shopify sync.

Robust AI Governance and Data Quality

Informatica’s updated data governance features strengthen AI adoption with an AI Governance Inventory and Workflows, offering a catalog for tracking models, datasets, and approvals. This ensures compliant AI deployment with customizable metrics and lineage visualization. Real-time Data Quality Rules via REST APIs allow applications to perform instant data checks, enhancing trust and governance. AI-Powered Lineage Discovery automates data flow mapping, accelerating deployment and modernization efforts.

“Our customers are crystal clear about what they need to scale their AI ambitions - trusted data, simplified governance and seamless integration across platforms,” said Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer at Informatica. “With the Summer 2025 release of IDMC, we’re delivering exactly that. From enhanced master data management and real-time data quality APIs to elastic orchestration and expanded GenAI integrations, these innovations provide organizations the trusted data foundation they need to move faster and build confidently with AI.”

The Summer 2025 IDMC release positions Informatica as a leader in AI-powered data management, enabling enterprises to harness trusted, AI-ready data for innovation and growth. With robust governance, seamless integration, and advanced AI capabilities, organizations can confidently scale their AI initiatives while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
