DataArt strengthens its Google Cloud capabilities with the appointment of Roman Sorocan as Global Head and Jeremy Lloyd as CTO of the Google Cloud Practice to accelerate its $100M AI initiative and support enterprise AI deployments.
DataArt, a global software engineering firm specializing in data, analytics, and AI platforms, has announced the appointment of two industry veterans to expand its Google Cloud Practice. Roman Sorocan joins as Global Head of Google Cloud Practice, and Jeremy Lloyd is appointed as CTO of Google Cloud Practice.
These strategic hires formalize a dedicated leadership tier within the Google Cloud Practice. They aim to help enterprise clients transition from AI experimentation to production-grade deployments as part of DataArt’s commitment to invest $100 million in AI and data-driven engineering.
Roman Sorocan has a strong track record of scaling cloud businesses inside global system integrators and managing sales and delivery for Fortune 500 clients. A former Googler with experience across Google Ads, Google Cloud, and Google Workspace, he has deep connections in the Google Cloud partner ecosystem and has previously led organizations to Premier Partner status.
Jeremy Lloyd brings 20 years of IT experience and is the author of the Infrastructure Leaders Guide to Google Cloud. He has spent the past seven years deeply embedded in the Google Cloud ecosystem, advising companies on cloud migration, modernization, and architecting multi-agent AI systems.
The new leadership will drive Google Cloud transformation revenue and deepen integration work with global enterprise clients. Their combined expertise will help close the gap between Google Cloud’s native innovations and practical enterprise delivery.
The expanded practice will concentrate on three core areas:
"The demand for AI-driven infrastructure requires more than technical capacity. It requires specialized governance and architectural precision. Roman and Jeremy bring the depth needed to deliver governed, tangible outcomes for our clients building on Google Cloud, as part of DataArt's broader commitment to AI and data-driven engineering."
Yuri Gubin, Chief Technology Officer at DataArt
The appointments coincide with Google Cloud Next ’26, taking place April 20-24, 2026, in Las Vegas. Sorocan and Lloyd will represent DataArt at the event to engage with clients and partners on AI-driven infrastructure, cloud-native engineering, and governed AI deployment.
