Cisdem has released Duplicate Finder for Windows 4.0.0, featuring an AI-powered algorithm that achieves 100% accuracy in detecting duplicate files. This upgrade enhances file deduplication speed and user experience, offering robust tools for managing photos, videos, documents, and more across multiple platforms, streamlining storage optimization for enterprises and individuals.

Quick Intel

  • Cisdem Duplicate Finder 4.0.0 achieves 100% accuracy with AI algorithm.
  • 12.89% faster scanning with new parallel processing technology.
  • AI-driven image comparison enhances similar image detection.
  • pHash algorithm added for precise image fingerprint comparison.
  • Compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and external storage devices.
  • Filter options improve user control over scan results.

AI-Driven Deduplication Breakthrough

Cisdem, a leader in file deduplication software for over a decade, announced the launch of Duplicate Finder for Windows 4.0.0 on June 26, 2025. The new version introduces an AI-powered file comparison algorithm, boosting accuracy from 99.7% to 100%. This upgrade, designed to optimize storage, supports Windows 11, 10, 8, and 7 (64-bit) and handles duplicate photos, videos, audio files, documents, and more, including on external storage devices.

“When we developed the new version, our goal was to enhance app performance and user experience,” said Leigh, lead developer, Cisdem Duplicate Finder.

Enhanced Speed and Accuracy

The updated software leverages full file content comparisons, moving beyond partial comparisons to achieve industry-leading accuracy. A new parallel processing technique increases scanning speed by 12.89%, ensuring efficient deduplication without compromising precision. This makes it ideal for enterprises managing large datasets and individuals looking to reclaim storage space.

Advanced Image Comparison Features

The AI-driven smart image comparison algorithm significantly improves similar image detection, allowing users to identify and remove redundant photo versions. A new pHash algorithm complements this by comparing images based on unique fingerprints. Users can adjust similarity thresholds manually and use a new filter feature with four options, including similarity level filtering, to refine scan results for a tailored experience.

Broad Compatibility and Use Cases

Cisdem Duplicate Finder supports a wide range of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, and cloud storage services like Google Drive and OneDrive. Its ability to process various file types—photos, videos, documents, and archives—makes it versatile for IT teams, content creators, and businesses aiming to optimize storage and improve system performance.

Cisdem’s Duplicate Finder for Windows 4.0.0 sets a new standard in file deduplication with its AI-powered precision and speed. By addressing user needs for accuracy and efficiency, this release empowers organizations and individuals to manage data effectively, enhancing productivity and storage management in a data-driven world.
