YY Group Holding Limited has announced the initial production deployment of OpenClaw, its agentic AI execution layer integrated within the YY Circle platform. The deployment is currently live with three hotel clients in Southeast Asia and marks the first operational phase of the company’s broader AI automation strategy.

The rollout includes two active client-facing workflows and internal deployment across selected YY Group accounts to support workforce coordination and operational automation.

  • YY Group launched OpenClaw AI workflows for hotel clients in Southeast Asia.
  • OpenClaw is integrated within the company’s YY Circle workforce platform.
  • Two of five planned client-facing workflows are now operational.
  • The platform automates shift coordination through WhatsApp and Telegram.
  • OpenClaw is powered by Arros AI and built on Anthropic’s Claude model.
  • The deployment aims to improve shift fulfillment and reduce operational workload.

YY Group Expands Agentic AI Deployment in Hospitality

YY Group said OpenClaw serves as the company’s agentic AI execution layer, connecting workforce intelligence, workflow automation, and operational data capabilities across its YY Circle platform.

Powered by Arros AI, OpenClaw operates across messaging applications, spreadsheets, and workforce management systems already used by hotel operations teams, allowing AI-driven workflows to execute directly within existing operational environments.

The deployment is part of YY Group’s long-term AI framework introduced in its May 2026 strategic update.

According to the company, OpenClaw is designed to improve shift fulfillment rates while reducing coordination workloads for both hospitality clients and YY Group’s internal operations teams.

The system proactively monitors open shifts, workforce availability, and worker reliability signals before triggering automated workflows to address staffing gaps.

"Our hospitality clients tell us the single biggest drag on productivity is not the absence of data — it is the time it takes to act on data scattered across messaging groups, spreadsheets, and disconnected portals," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group. "OpenClaw closes that gap by bringing our AI-native platform to where operations teams already work and automating workflows across the board."

Initial Workflows Focus on Shift Management Automation

YY Group confirmed that two client-facing workflows are currently operational in production environments.

The first workflow enables hotel HR and operations supervisors to create staffing shift requests directly through messaging applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram. OpenClaw then autonomously posts shifts to the YY Circle platform and returns staffing confirmations.

The second workflow automates worker outreach by identifying employees at risk of absence and initiating communication workflows before escalating unresolved cases to YY Group operations teams for replacement actions.

The company said three additional workflows are scheduled for rollout through the second half of 2026, including:

  • Proactive shift fill-rate alerts for hotel operations teams
  • Plain-language worker pool queries
  • Post-shift rating capture through messaging applications

YY Group plans to expand OpenClaw deployments across additional hospitality clients in parallel with workflow expansion.

AI Infrastructure Designed for Operational Scale

OpenClaw currently operates on YY Group-managed cloud infrastructure supporting the company’s Singapore operations.

The system includes role-based permissions and human approval requirements for actions involving financial obligations or worker record modifications.

YY Group confirmed that OpenClaw is built on Anthropic’s Claude large language model as part of Arros AI’s infrastructure stack.

Kevin Gao, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Arros AI, said the deployment represents a broader operational infrastructure upgrade for workforce coordination.

"By identifying demand and worker reliability signals across applications and acting autonomously when conditions call for it, OpenClaw is poised to drive meaningful improvements across shift fill rate, worker turn-up, and the share of operations time spent on coordination," Gao said.

As workforce management providers continue embedding AI automation into operational systems, YY Group is positioning OpenClaw as a core infrastructure layer for hospitality staffing coordination and workforce optimization across Southeast Asia and beyond.
