WMC Global has released WMC Insight+, a new agentic AI-based platform designed to collect the latest mobile threat intelligence and protect brands and customers from malicious digital activity, including phishing and smishing attacks.
The rise of rich communication services (RCS) and over-the-top (OTT) messaging applications has introduced new opportunities for malicious actors. Smishing attacks now exploit trusted platforms such as RCS, WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, making traditional defenses insufficient.
WMC Insight+ leverages an agentic AI architecture to gather real-time intelligence on mobile-originated threats. The platform provides detailed information about phishing URLs, phishing kits, malicious phone numbers and their interconnections, as well as compromised identities. Beyond reporting, it actively supports the takedown and disruption of these threats, helping organizations shield customers from destructive cyber attacks.
“Through an easy-to-use interface with API support retained, customers across industries — including telecommunications, finance and retail — now have a powerful system that delivers rich data about cyber threats — especially those originating from mobile devices,” said Manmeet Bhasin, WMC Global’s new CEO. “With WMC Insight+, brands can feel safe knowing that further threat attempts are prevented and effects are mitigated.”
To support rapid growth and continued innovation, WMC Global has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Manmeet Bhasin as CEO and Subra Ramesh as CTO. Both executives previously collaborated at Dataguise, bringing extensive experience in enterprise technology, security, and AI/ML.
Bhasin has over 20 years in enterprise technology, including founding and leading Dataguise and serving as managing partner at PGV Fund. Ramesh brings a strong background in software and security from companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Informatica, along with five U.S. patents in security and data management.
“By integrating agentic AI into their proven threat intelligence framework, WMC Global is closing the window of opportunity for fraudsters,” said Michael Frankel from Trajectory Capital. “Insight+ is exactly the type of innovation needed by large companies to stay ahead in an increasingly complex and risky digital world.”
The investment from Trajectory Capital provides additional financial backing to fuel WMC Global’s expansion in the fast-growing mobile threat intelligence market.
WMC Insight+ strengthens WMC Global’s ability to help security teams scale defenses against phishing, smishing, and other mobile-originated threats through proprietary data feeds, investigation, disruption, and takedown services.
