Leadership Perspective

"The current healthcare system isn't working for Members, employers, or providers. My goal is to use technology to deliver better experiences, higher quality, and lower costs." - Anjali Jameson, Chief Product Officer at Transcarent.

"At Transcarent, we are reimagining health and care around people, not systems. Anjali's track record of building consumer-driven products, combined with her deep understanding of AI, makes her an exceptional addition to deliver on our goal of an experience that proactively and personally improves the care and the experience and takes cost out," said Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer of Transcarent. "She understands how to use AI to do what technology has done in every other industry — deliver higher quality at dramatically lower costs — and how to bring that to health and care."

Statement from Anjali Jameson

"I've spent my career focused on making healthcare easier to access, understand, and navigate for the people who need it most," said Jameson. "The reality is that the current system isn't working for anyone — Members, employers, or providers. Transcarent brings together everything people need, including information on benefits and coverage, guidance on care, access to doctors, nurses, therapists and other medical professionals, and a seamless connection to every leading point solution. My goal is to put the pieces together in a way that drives quality and experience at a much lower cost."

Background and Experience

Jameson has built digital health products at the intersection of employers, payers, and providers throughout her career. She has led product and technology teams at Zipongo, Rally Health, UnitedHealth Group, Amazon/One Medical, and Apple, helping scale consumer healthcare experiences that improve access, engagement, and outcomes. She brings extensive experience in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to create more personalized, connected healthcare solutions that simplify how people navigate care. In her new role at Transcarent, she'll leverage this experience as she oversees the WayFinding platform, designed to guide users through the healthcare system and take action.

Prior to her time in healthcare, Jameson led mobile commerce initiatives for Apple's online store platforms, where she helped expand global mobile experiences and accessibility capabilities.

In addition to her operational leadership experience, Jameson serves on the board of the Alameda Health System Foundation, which is focused on expanding access to quality care and advancing health equity across Alameda County.
