Swoogo has launched the industry’s first native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling B2B event teams to securely connect live event data directly to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Lovable, Replit, and Cursor for conversational access, AI-powered builds, and cross-event intelligence.

  • Swoogo announced the launch of its native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, the first and only event management platform to offer this capability.
  • Event teams can now connect live event data directly to popular AI tools without code or engineering resources.
  • Setup takes five minutes and allows plain-language queries, AI-powered event site builds, and cross-event intelligence.
  • MCP server enables conversational data access, vibe-coded registration experiences, and insights across full event portfolios.
  • Supports integration with external data sources such as CRMs to identify attendee-to-customer conversions and revenue impact.
  • MCP is an open standard, ensuring compatibility with any supporting AI tool as adoption grows.

Swoogo, the event management platform for B2B event teams, today announced the launch of its native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Swoogo is the first and only event management platform to offer a native, ready-to-use MCP server, giving event teams direct access to their live event data inside AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Lovable, Replit, and Cursor.

MCP is an open standard that lets AI tools connect securely to external systems. With Swoogo's MCP server, the AI tools event teams use every day can now read, query, and act on real event data.

"Most event platforms are building AI inside their own walls and stopping there," said Chris Sykes, CEO of Swoogo. "We're building AI into Swoogo too, but we're also doing something different: connecting event data to the AI tools our customers already use. Planners shouldn't have to choose between our AI and theirs."

Swoogo's MCP server unlocks three key capabilities for event teams.

Conversational Data Access Event teams can ask plain-language questions about registrations, session capacity, attendee profiles, and more, receiving answers in seconds without opening dashboards or exporting spreadsheets.

AI-Powered Event Builds Using tools like Lovable, Replit, or Cursor, teams can describe desired event sites or registration experiences in conversation. The AI builds them while registration data flows directly back into Swoogo as the system of record, eliminating the need for design or engineering resources.

Cross-Event Intelligence The MCP server connects data across an entire event portfolio and integrates external sources for deeper context. Teams can identify which attendees converted to customers, compare revenue by event or region, and determine which content or experiences drove the most deals.

Most event platforms build AI as closed, internal features. Swoogo took a different approach by creating an open connection point that lets event teams use the AI tools they already prefer. Because MCP is an open standard, Swoogo’s MCP server works with any AI tool that supports the protocol.

"We didn't want to build another chatbot," said Mike Olivieri, CTO of Swoogo. "We wanted to build a connection point. The best AI tool for any given team is the one they're already using. Our job is to make sure their Swoogo data is there when they need it."

Swoogo's MCP functionality compounds with other connected data sources, enabling richer insights such as attendee segmentation by industry or pipeline impact from events.
