Socure, a leading trust infrastructure for global identity and risk intelligence, today announced a strategic growth investment that values the company at $5.2 billion, alongside the acquisition of Fravity, an agentic platform that automates fraud, risk, and compliance operations.

The investment was led by Summit Partners with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo, Docusign, and others, and includes both primary capital and an existing employee secondary tender offer. The investment will support Socure's global expansion and the integration of Fravity's 1st party agent building capabilities natively into Socure's RiskOS platform.

Trust Infrastructure for AI-Driven Economy with Full Loop Ownership

Together, the investment and acquisition reflect Socure's expanding role as a trust infrastructure leader for the global economy in which AI has changed both the scale of fraud and money laundering and the systems used to stop them.

"Identity is the first perimeter for trust in an AI-driven economy across nearly every use case, and we believe the platforms that can verify identity accurately, continuously, and at global scale, will define the next decade of risk infrastructure," said Andy Collins, a Managing Director at Summit Partners. "Socure has built that capability with rigor — an AI-native architecture, a deep data advantage and documented outcomes for large enterprise and government customers."

"What stands out to us about Socure is the combination of durable growth and disciplined execution at this scale," said Matt Hamilton, a Managing Director at Summit Partners. "We have followed this market closely for years, and we believe Socure is well positioned to bring identity, fraud and compliance workflows onto a single platform."

The acquisition of Fravity adds a native 1st party agent development platform and agentic operations layer to RiskOS, the orchestration and decisioning platform that serves more than 3,000 customers. The two companies already share many enterprise customers running both platforms together in production, and the founding teams across Socure, Effectiv (rebranded as RiskOS), and Fravity have worked together across multiple companies for more than a decade.

RiskOS_Agents Completing Data, Models, Decision and Action Loop

According to intelligence platform Liminal, U.S. organizations spend $100 billion a year on fraud, compliance, and risk operations through internal and outsourced staffing. Most of this work is still done manually. With AI-driven fraud attacks up 8,000% in the past year, alert volumes are climbing faster than teams can staff.

Because RiskOS sits at the center of every fraud, identity, authentication, and compliance decision and is built on a decade of proprietary data from Socure's Identity Graph, RiskOS_Agents are wired directly into Socure's proprietary datasets, purpose-built models, and downstream decision outcomes to maximize accuracy that is unmatched.

"AI broke the economics of fraud and compliance operations, and no institution is going to hire their way out of it," said Johnny Ayers, Co-Founder and CEO of Socure. "The next decade belongs to the organization who owns the full loop: the data, the models, the decision layer, and now agents that act on all three components. Fravity, now RiskOS_Agents, completes that loop inside RiskOS."
