Skyflow has launched its Runtime AI Data Security platform, specifically designed to secure sensitive data within agentic AI applications built using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Quick Suite. The solution addresses a critical barrier to production: protecting data in use while allowing autonomous agents to complete complex workflows without being blocked by traditional security tools.
Skyflow launches a Runtime AI Data Security platform for AWS's agentic AI offerings.
It secures data for applications built with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Quick Suite.
The platform protects sensitive data (PII, PHI, PCI) in real-time as agents process it.
It enables de-identification and governed rehydration so agents can complete tasks without overexposing data.
Features include global data residency controls, context-aware governance, and field-level auditability.
The goal is to move agentic AI workflows from prototypes to production without compromising security.
As enterprises move from AI prototypes to production, they face the challenge of allowing agents access to sensitive data while preventing leaks and ensuring compliance. Traditional security tools that simply block or redact data can stall the very workflows AI agents are meant to automate. Skyflow's new platform is built to remove this roadblock by applying fine-grained, runtime protections that keep data secure even while it's being actively used by models and agents.
The launch is tightly integrated with two key AWS releases: Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, a platform for building and deploying agents at scale, and Amazon Quick Suite, an agentic AI application for employee productivity. For Quick Suite, Skyflow enforces runtime sensitive data protection, inspecting and de-identifying PII/PHI before it reaches any agent. For AgentCore, it integrates with agent identity to enforce policy-based, "minimum necessary" data access and provides complete audit trails.
Skyflow's platform introduces several critical capabilities designed for autonomous AI systems. These include real-time discovery and classification of sensitive data with entity preservation, allowing models to reason without raw data exposure. A key feature is governed "rehydration," which restores original data values only at the exact point in a workflow where it is necessary and permitted. The platform also enforces global data residency controls and provides comprehensive, field-level auditability for compliance. “With Skyflow, agentic AI workflows can finally move from prototypes to production — delivering automation without compromising security, privacy, or global regulatory requirements,” the company stated.
The collaboration positions Skyflow as a security layer for the AWS agentic AI ecosystem. Andy Perkins of AWS noted the integration "adds the fine-grained data protections and agent-level governance required in regulated industries." This combination aims to give enterprises the confidence to scale AI pilots into production systems. Skyflow CEO Anshu Sharma emphasized, “Skyflow’s Runtime AI Data Security provides the essential guardrails—protecting data exactly at the moment of use.”
The introduction of Runtime AI Data Security for AWS AgentCore and Quick Suite represents a direct response to a foundational challenge in enterprise AI adoption. By providing a way to dynamically protect sensitive data within the flow of agentic workflows, Skyflow is addressing a major compliance and security hurdle. This enables organizations, particularly in regulated industries, to pursue the automation benefits of agentic AI while maintaining the data governance and trust required for real-world deployment.
