Sigma, a leader in AI applications for business, today announced preliminary fiscal year results ending January 31, 2026, with annualized recurring revenue (ARR) growth exceeding 100% year over year. The momentum reflects strong demand from both new customers and expanding usage among existing enterprises, driven by the market transition from traditional dashboards to AI-powered workflows that analyze, decide, and act securely on trusted data warehouse sources.

“Sigma’s growth reflects a clear shift in the market: enterprises require trusted data to build trusted agentic applications,” said Mike Palmer, CEO of Sigma. “Sigma is built on warehouse data, so teams can replace expensive SaaS, automate longstanding manual work, and operationalize AI without copying data or breaking governance. Our platform is designed to help organizations go fast—and go safely.”

  • Sigma reports 100%+ YoY ARR growth for fiscal year ending January 31, 2026.
  • Added 1.1 million+ new active users in the last fiscal year.
  • Customers built 6,000 AI applications on the platform.
  • Trusted by 1,800+ organizations, including AMD, Chewy, Duolingo, Workday, and Colgate-Palmolive.
  • Recognized as Snowflake Business Intelligence Data Cloud Product Partner of the Year 2025 (third consecutive year) and Databricks Business Intelligence Partner of the Year 2025.
  • Launched Workflow, Sigma’s first user conference, scheduled for March 5, 2026, in San Francisco.

Record Growth Driven by AI Workflow Demand

The rapid ARR doubling highlights enterprises moving beyond static reporting to operational AI applications that execute business processes directly on live warehouse data. Sigma’s architecture enables secure, governed automation without data duplication or governance risks, replacing legacy SaaS tools and manual workflows while maintaining compliance and performance.

Key momentum includes induction into the JPMorganChase Hall of Innovation, recognition in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms, and co-founding the Open Semantic Interchange (OSI) with Snowflake to standardize metric definitions across ecosystems. Sigma expanded leadership globally and opened new offices in New York, London, and Sydney to support accelerating international demand.

Product Innovation Fuels Operational AI Adoption

Sigma delivered significant advancements in AI and multitenant architecture, including Ask Sigma—an agentic AI experience for natural language analysis with full visibility and editability—plus support for Snowflake semantic views, data model relationships, and embedded Ask Sigma capabilities. Additional releases expanded Input Table writeback across more platforms, enhanced Sigma Tenants for governed scaling, introduced pixel-perfect reporting, and brought Python workflows for Snowflake and Databricks into the platform.

These innovations enable teams to build and deploy AI-powered applications that drive real-time decisions while preserving enterprise security and governance.

“We’re at a moment where every company has to operationalize AI or risk falling behind,” said Rob Woollen, co-founder and CTO of Sigma. “The most forward-looking teams are choosing Sigma because our architecture lets AI applications run directly on the cloud data warehouse without copying data, breaking governance, or slowing teams down. Sustaining this level of growth reflects strong fundamentals and a platform built to scale as AI becomes core to how businesses operate.”

Sigma will host its first user conference, Workflow, on March 5, 2026, in San Francisco, sponsored by Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and others, offering hands-on learning and insights into building AI-powered applications.
