Seekr, the leader in explainable and sovereign AI, today announced it has joined the MACH Alliance as an Agent Ecosystem Collaborator. Seekr will contribute its deep expertise in data provenance, lineage, explainability, and sovereignty to the Alliance's work on open standards and reference architectures for AI agents that operate across vendor boundaries. As agentic interoperability increases, Seekr will help define how decisions made across those systems stay traceable, governable, and defensible.

  • Seekr joins MACH Alliance as Agent Ecosystem Collaborator bringing proven explainability to multi-vendor AI agents.
  • Will contribute expertise in data provenance, lineage, explainability and sovereignty to open standards and reference architectures.
  • Addresses gap beyond interoperability: tracing which data drove decisions across chains of agents from different vendors.
  • Joins Enterprise Agent Architecture working group to collaborate on content applying MACH principles to AI governance.
  • MACH Alliance is vendor-neutral nonprofit with 116+ members including Vercel, Deloitte Digital and Netlify.
  • Agent Ecosystem launched late 2025 now backed by 70+ supporters focused on enterprise-scale proofs for interoperable agents.

Interoperability Alone Leaves Governance Gap in Multi-Vendor AI

Enterprises are moving rapidly from single AI assistants in test environments to systems of agents that work together in production, often sourced from different vendors and connected to systems deployed months or even years apart. Getting those agents to interoperate is the industry's current focus. But interoperability alone leaves a gap: when a decision is produced by a chain of agents from different vendors, the organization still has to show which data drove it, how that data was transformed along the way, and why that outcome was produced. In regulated industries and government, that record is what determines whether a decision can be defended to a regulator, an auditor, or a court.

"Interoperability gets agents talking to each other. It doesn't tell you why they reached a decision, or which source drove it, which becomes even more complex with agents from multiple vendors," said Rob Clark, President of Seekr. "We've spent years helping government and regulated customers answer that question with evidence, and it's the same bar multi-vendor agents will have to meet next. We joined the MACH Alliance to bring real solutions and experience into agentic architectures both within the U.S. and internationally."

Seekr Brings Production-Grade Experience to Agent Ecosystem

The Agent Ecosystem exists for AI in production, not AI in theory. That's the standard Seekr has held from the start, working with organizations that could only deploy AI they could explain, and it's the experience the company brings to an ecosystem of industry leaders focused specifically on scale and business outcomes.

"We're pleased to welcome Seekr to the Agent Ecosystem as a Collaborator," said Holly Hall, Managing Director of MACH Alliance. "As enterprises connect agents across vendors, the ability to trace and explain what those agents decide becomes as important as getting them to work together. Seekr's experience in regulated and government environments brings that perspective directly into the working groups shaping our reference architectures."

Seekr joins the MACH Alliance's Agent Ecosystem as a Collaborator, bringing expertise in governance, security and evaluation. Seekr will participate in the Enterprise Agent Architecture working group, collaborate with the Alliance and fellow members on content applying MACH principles to AI governance, and share lessons from production deployments in regulated and government environments.

The collaboration aims to ensure multi-vendor agent systems remain auditable and defensible as enterprises scale from single assistants to interconnected agent ecosystems operating across vendor boundaries.

About Seekr

Seekr is the leader in explainable, defensible AI built for critical decisions in environments that demand accuracy and accountability. Seekr's technology and products help enterprises and government agencies develop and deploy domain-specific large language models (LLMs), vision language models (VLMs) that understand the physical world, edge-based systems, and AI agents across any infrastructure, including sovereign deployments. Backed by robust verification and validation tools that surface the provenance, lineage, and intent behind every model decision, Seekr delivers AI that organizations can audit and trust across all modalities. About MACH Alliance

The MACH Alliance is the global, vendor-neutral industry body setting the standards for open, composable, and connected enterprise technology. More than a standards organisation, it's a movement, equipping technology leaders with certifications, research, and peer guidance to build architectures they own and can evolve.

Founded in 2020, the Alliance has established the trusted framework for enterprise technology transformation, and is now leading the development of one of the world's first Agent Ecosystems: an open, interoperable environment where specialised AI agents from different vendors work together through vendor-neutral standards.

A growing community of 100+ member companies and 80+ enterprise ambassadors, including technology vendors, system integrators, hyperscalers and leading global brands, driving enterprise technology transformation at scale.
