Quant AI and IBM Promote AI-First Enterprise Models

During the AI Spotlight Session, Chetan Dube and IBM’s Yogendra Goyal discussed how enterprises can evolve beyond traditional automation by embedding AI directly into business operations.

The session focused on the importance of agentic AI in enabling intelligent decision-making across enterprise systems. Dube emphasized the growing need for businesses to create connected AI infrastructures capable of integrating workflows, employees and customer interactions.

‘In three years, every company will be running an agentic enterprise. The challenge is getting from fragmented automation to true end-to-end intelligence. Most businesses are missing the connective tissue - the reasoning layer that links systems, people and decisions together. That’s what makes our work with IBM different: we’re building a true active reasoning conveyor belt that seamlessly connects both AI and humans to unlock real enterprise gains.’

Held annually, the IBM Think Conference serves as a major platform for enterprise technology announcements, bringing together business leaders, technologists and AI innovators from around the world.

AI Agent Ava Demonstrates Real-World Customer Service Automation

A major highlight of the session was the live demonstration of Ava, Quant AI’s AI-powered agent designed to support enterprise contact centre operations.

Developed in collaboration with IBM, the AI-powered contact centre solution combines voice AI and digital chat capabilities to assist policyholders with enquiries related to policies, claims, payments and documentation. The system can authenticate customers, process payments, send forms and escalate complex cases to live agents while retaining full conversation context.

The solution supports both English and Spanish, helping organisations improve accessibility, customer experience and operational performance.

Dube highlighted measurable performance improvements delivered by Ava:

  • 84% of customer calls resolved autonomously
  • Average call handling time reduced from 11 minutes 30 seconds to 8 minutes 30 seconds
  • First call resolution rates improved from 71% to 86%

IBM and Quant AI Expand Collaboration with Fortitude Re

The session also highlighted ongoing collaboration between IBM, Quant AI and Fortitude Re to modernize customer support operations in the insurance sector.

Yogendra Goyal emphasized how AI-first operating models are shifting enterprise transformation efforts from incremental automation to scalable intelligent systems.

“For 25 years I’ve been working with insurance carriers to resolve this issue, but it was always about incremental solutions. With Quant, it moves to exponential—resulting in a truly AI-first customer experience.”- Yogi Goyal, Global Managing Partner, Business Operations

The partnership reflects growing enterprise demand for AI-driven customer engagement, intelligent automation and operational efficiency across industries.

Chetan Dube continues to be recognised as a leading voice in agentic AI and cognitive computing. Prior to leading Quant AI, he served as President and CEO of Amelia, where he focused on AI-powered IT and service management transformation. He has also held an academic role at New York University and remains an active contributor to global discussions around AI ethics, digital workforces and enterprise automation.

Recognised by Forbes as one of the “Nine Greatest AI Minds to Watch,” Dube continues to advocate for the adoption of intelligent AI operating models capable of reshaping modern enterprises.
