Qlik has announced the general availability of its agentic experience in Qlik Cloud, delivered through Qlik Answers as a unified conversational interface. The company also launched the Qlik Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in general availability, enabling third-party AI assistants—such as Anthropic Claude—to securely access Qlik’s analytical engine, governed data products, and trusted intelligence.

Qlik’s agentic experience meets this need by integrating advanced reasoning with its unique analytics engine, governed data products, and transparent citations—enabling teams to derive insights from both structured analytics and unstructured content while maintaining traceability.
Qlik Answers leverages an agentic framework to interpret questions, perform engine-powered calculations, retrieve from curated knowledge bases, and deliver responses with clear reasoning, citations, and explanations. This ensures answers remain accurate, context-aware, and defensible, making them suitable for high-stakes business decisions.
Discovery Agent automatically monitors critical metrics and business measures, identifying significant anomalies or shifts early. By surfacing these insights proactively, it enables teams to address issues or capitalize on opportunities before they escalate, embedding analytics directly into operational workflows.
Data Products for Analytics provide curated, governed datasets complete with stewardship metadata and quality indicators. These reusable assets give both analysts and AI agents a consistent, reliable source of truth, reducing risk and accelerating insight generation across the organization.
The Qlik MCP server opens Qlik’s capabilities to third-party assistants through secure APIs, allowing tools like Anthropic Claude to generate governed insights and interact with trusted data products. This extends Qlik’s analytical power into existing AI ecosystems without compromising control or compliance.
