Path Systems, a startup emerging from Jason Calacanis’ LAUNCH accelerator (Cohort 35), has announced the launch of its AI-native software platform designed to support regenerative software—systems that continuously adapt and improve alongside business needs rather than remaining static post-deployment.
As AI accelerates code generation, organizations continue to face challenges in turning outputs into secure, production-ready, and maintainable applications. Path addresses this gap by providing infrastructure where software becomes a living, evolving system driven by intelligent agents.
The platform allows businesses to generate full-stack applications, deploy websites and internal tools instantly, manage authentication, databases, and hosting in a unified environment, and update systems through conversational and agent-driven workflows—all directly on production infrastructure.
Traditional SaaS solutions often force businesses into predefined workflows, limiting flexibility. Path enables organizations to create and modify tailored systems without relying on separate tools for CRM, analytics, dashboards, or automation.
“AI can generate code, but businesses don’t need code, they need outcomes,” said Billy Kraft, Co-Founder and CEO of Path. “We’re building infrastructure where software becomes a living system that evolves with the organization using it.”
“Most AI development tools stop at generating files,” said Patrick Hubbard, Co-Founder and CTO of Path. “We built Path so agents operate within the runtime itself, meaning they can understand context and modify systems safely.”
This agent-driven model allows software to adapt dynamically, reducing technical debt and implementation cycles while enabling smaller teams to achieve capabilities previously requiring large engineering organizations.
Path’s origins stem from Kraft’s consulting work modernizing operations for small and mid-sized businesses in Texas, where fragmented software stacks and lengthy implementations were common pain points. This led to the development of internal tooling that evolved into the Path platform.
Early adopters are leveraging the system for operational dashboards, AI-powered marketing tools, internal business applications, and customer-facing software—demonstrating practical value in diverse use cases.
Headquartered in Austin, Path is launching during SXSW 2026 with a community event uniting founders, operators, and technologists to explore AI-native companies and autonomous software systems.
The company plans to expand integrations, partnerships, and developer tooling throughout 2026 to grow its ecosystem and support broader adoption.
Path positions itself at the forefront of a shift toward adaptive, AI-driven software environments that prioritize business outcomes over static code delivery.
