As enterprises accelerate the adoption of AI agents, access to reliable and real-time web data has become critical for delivering accurate responses. Parallel has announced a new integration with Google Cloud that brings its AI-native web search infrastructure directly to the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, enabling organizations to build production-ready AI agents with native web access.
The integration simplifies enterprise AI development by combining search, grounding, deployment, and billing within the Google Cloud ecosystem, eliminating the need to integrate multiple third-party services.
Parallel has announced a product integration with Google Cloud that makes its AI-powered web search infrastructure natively available across the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. The integration allows developers to incorporate live web search directly into enterprise AI agents without separately managing search infrastructure, model integration, or billing.
Organizations can access Parallel through the Gemini Enterprise API, select it as a grounding source in Studio, or subscribe via Google Cloud Marketplace with usage billed through their existing Google Cloud account.
"AI agents will soon use the web far more than humans ever have, and need search infrastructure purpose-built for how they operate," said Parag Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Parallel. "We built Parallel to provide that infrastructure, and this partnership with Google Cloud brings it natively to where enterprises are building production agents."
"Enterprises want to build AI agents on an open platform with the best tools to deliver real value," said Matt Renner, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Google Cloud. "By adding Parallel as a grounding option on our Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, customers can now use their preferred live-web data stream to make Gemini smarter. This helps them smoothly take agents from prototype to deployment, all within their existing Google Cloud environment."
Grounding with Parallel Web Search connects Gemini models to live public web data through Parallel Web Systems' Search API. The service combines Parallel's AI-native web index with Gemini's ability to interpret complex prompts, identify relevant information, and generate accurate responses supported by citation annotations.
Running entirely on Google Cloud, the solution provides enterprises with secure integration while allowing AI agents to retrieve structured, LLM-optimized search results designed specifically for agentic workloads.
The integration aims to reduce complexity for organizations developing enterprise AI applications. Instead of combining separate search providers, AI models, and billing systems, businesses can deploy grounded AI agents using a unified Google Cloud environment.
The offering is available immediately through Google Cloud Marketplace. Customers can subscribe to the service, accept the applicable terms, review pricing, and receive consolidated billing through their existing Google Cloud invoices. Marketplace purchases also count toward eligible Google Cloud marketplace benefits.
Developers can access implementation resources through the Grounding with Parallel documentation or by visiting Parallel's website.
