  • Oracle launches AI-native builder for Fusion Agentic Applications.
  • New builder supports no-code, low-code, and pro-code AI development.
  • Fusion Agentic Applications run natively within Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • AI Studio Skill integrates with Visual Studio Code, Codex, and Claude Code.
  • New capabilities strengthen enterprise AI governance and security.
  • Oracle expands AI Agent Marketplace and developer ecosystem.

Oracle Introduces Fusion Agentic Applications

Oracle's latest builder experience introduces Fusion Agentic Applications, a new category of enterprise applications powered by teams of specialized AI agents that collaborate to execute business processes. Unlike standalone AI agents or external automation tools, these applications operate natively inside Oracle Fusion Applications, allowing them to interact directly with business objects, workflows, approvals, and enterprise policies.

By executing AI-driven processes within the existing enterprise environment, organizations can maintain security, governance, auditability, and operational oversight without relying on external orchestration platforms.

Unified AI Development for Every Builder

The new builder experience combines no-code, low-code, and pro-code development into a single Oracle Fusion-native framework.

Business users can create AI-powered applications using natural language through the Agentic Applications Builder, while developers and partners can build advanced applications using the new AI Studio Skill. The development environment integrates with Visual Studio Code, standard command-line interfaces, Git-based workflows, and AI coding assistants including Codex and Claude Code.

This unified approach enables organizations to build AI-native applications regardless of technical expertise while supporting enterprise-grade lifecycle management and development practices.

Enterprise AI Built With Governance by Design

Fusion Agentic Applications are designed to execute business processes directly within Oracle Fusion Applications while inheriting existing security policies, governance controls, approvals, and audit capabilities.

Oracle says this native runtime approach addresses one of the primary challenges organizations face when moving AI initiatives from prototype to production. Instead of separately implementing identity management, access controls, governance, observability, and lifecycle management, these capabilities are integrated into the platform from the beginning.

Expanded AI Agent Studio Capabilities

Oracle has enhanced AI Agent Studio with several new capabilities to simplify enterprise AI development.

Organizations can now build complete agentic applications supported by specialized AI agent teams, deploy applications directly within Oracle Fusion Applications, develop using familiar software engineering tools, and access reusable templates, starter projects, and reference architectures through a new public GitHub repository.

The platform also supports open agent interoperability, enabling Oracle, partner, third-party, and custom-built AI agents to collaborate within Oracle Fusion Applications while maintaining enterprise security and governance standards.

In addition, Oracle AI Agent Marketplace is expanding beyond AI agents to include a catalog of complete agentic applications. Oracle also noted that more than 80,000 certified experts have now been trained on Oracle AI Agent Studio.

Oracle Highlights the Future of Enterprise Applications

"Enterprise software is moving beyond systems that record work to systems that actively drive and execute outcomes," said Chris Leone, executive vice president, Applications Development, Oracle. "With this new builder experience, customers and partners can build Fusion Agentic Applications that are backed by specialized agent teams and run natively inside Oracle Fusion Applications, where the business objects, workflows, security, approvals, and auditability already exist. This is fundamentally different from building disconnected AI automations and then trying to bolt on enterprise controls later."

Industry Leaders Support the Expansion

Industry analysts and consulting partners including Accenture, Deloitte Consulting LLP, IDC, PwC, and Constellation Research highlighted the growing importance of governed enterprise AI and Oracle's approach to embedding AI directly within enterprise applications to accelerate production deployment while maintaining operational oversight.

Oracle's latest AI Agent Studio enhancements reinforce its strategy of embedding AI directly into enterprise business applications. By enabling organizations to build secure, governed Fusion Agentic Applications within Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle aims to simplify enterprise AI adoption while helping customers move from AI experimentation to production-scale business automation.
