JustinMendez.ai has launched two free educational resources for people navigating the shift toward AI agents: builders creating software with AI and business leaders deciding how AI should change the way their companies operate. The new no-signup resources give builders a 90-day path into agentic engineering and give business leaders a practical framework for deciding where AI belongs inside a company.

  • JustinMendez.ai launches free Agentic Engineer course with 90-day self-directed learning path

  • AI for Business Leaders workshop provides framework for founders and executives on AI adoption

  • Both resources available without payment or registration

  • Course curates freely available material from leading organizations organized around learner's project

  • Agentic engineering defined as translating human understanding into context for AI agents

Agentic Engineer Course: A 90-Day Path for Builders

The Agentic Engineer course is a self-directed 90-day path designed to take a learner from understanding how modern software fits together to building and evaluating agentic systems. The course is organized around four stages: learning how software works as a complete system, learning to direct agents, building reliability through testing and evaluation, and designing agentic systems around real problems.

Rather than creating another closed curriculum, the course curates freely available material from the world's leading organizations and educators then organizes those resources around a project the learner wants to build. Students begin by building and understanding a complete application. They then move into directing coding agents, context engineering, testing, evaluation, orchestration and eventually building their own agentic systems.

"The information already exists. You need the path through it," Mendez writes in the course.

The entire learning path is available without payment or registration.

AI for Business Leaders Workshop

The second resource, AI for Business Leaders, is a free workshop for founders, executives and operators responsible for deciding how AI should be used inside a company. The workshop begins with a central mental model: "AI predicts. It does not think."

From there, the course walks business leaders through identifying problems worth solving, mapping how work happens today, deciding where probabilistic AI belongs inside a workflow, building reliability around AI systems, and keeping human judgment attached to consequential decisions.

Agentic Engineering and Agentic Companies Frameworks

The launch also expands JustinMendez.ai's published work around two related concepts: agentic engineering and agentic companies. Mendez describes agentic engineering as the work of translating human understanding into the context, instructions, examples, tools and tests that agents need to solve a problem. The human does not need to manually produce every part of the solution, but remains responsible for defining the problem and determining whether it was actually solved.

"Agents do the work. You own the outcome," Mendez writes.

The site's Agentic Companies framework applies a similar principle at the organizational level. An agentic company preserves what it learns from its work. Decisions lead to action, real-world outcomes provide evidence, and that evidence becomes context for the next decision. Agents can carry defined responsibilities for research, execution and validation while people retain responsibility for judgment, direction and consequences. The goal is for the organization to become better at making decisions as its experience compounds.
