These innovations aim to provide the trusted data foundation required for enterprise-scale agentic AI.
A key announcement is the introduction of new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. These servers allow developers to extend Informatica’s data integration, governance, and quality services directly into Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. This enables the creation of AI agents that can connect to, interpret, and act on well-governed enterprise data in near real-time, improving accuracy and compliance. Informatica also achieved the AWS Agentic AI Specialization, recognizing its capability in enabling self-operating AI systems.
Informatica’s CLAIRE® AI Engine now leverages Anthropic’s Claude models through Amazon Bedrock. This integration brings advanced reasoning and natural language understanding to Informatica’s agentic services, enhancing complex tasks like schema grounding, SQL optimization, and semantic query generation for data management. “As AI becomes more autonomous, the quality and governance of the underlying data become critical,” said Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer at Informatica.
To help customers implement these capabilities, Informatica unveiled the next evolution of its Enterprise Agent Blueprint. This prescriptive framework guides the design, optimization, and scaling of agentic AI systems on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. It leverages Informatica’s pre-built connectors, MCP servers, and APIs to offer a clear path to deploying enterprise-grade autonomous agents that meet stringent governance and security standards.
Complementing these agentic AI developments, Informatica announced the general availability of its Cloud Data Integration (CDI) connector for Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse. This connector enables the ingestion of data from over 300 sources into SageMaker, supporting Apache Iceberg for simplified data preparation and transformation for machine learning, generative AI, and analytics projects.
Together, these updates reflect a deepened collaboration aimed at moving enterprises from AI experimentation to production at scale. By combining AWS's AI infrastructure with Informatica's governed data management, the partnership provides the foundational elements needed for responsible, high-impact agentic AI.
