GoDaddy today announced an integration between its Agent Name Service (ANS) and Salesforce's MuleSoft Agent Fabric. This collaboration addresses a critical challenge in the rapidly expanding agentic AI landscape: verifying the origin, publisher, and trustworthiness of AI agents before they interact with enterprise systems, APIs, or sensitive data.

Quick Intel

  • GoDaddy ANS registers AI agents in the public Domain Name System (DNS), making them globally discoverable with cryptographically verified identities linked to the owner's domain.
  • MuleSoft Agent Fabric customers can now configure ANS as a trusted source, allowing Agent Scanners to pull verified agents into the MuleSoft Agent Registry for review and approval.
  • Teams gain visibility into each agent's verification status, publisher details, and cryptographic proof of identity before granting access to APIs or data.
  • The integration supports policy-based governance, enabling organizations to set controls on agent permissions and reduce risks from rogue or spoofed agents.
  • ANS requires no special tools—any system can query agent identities via standard DNS lookups.
  • This solution helps balance rapid AI agent adoption with enterprise-grade security and accountability.

Securing Agentic AI at Scale

As organizations deploy AI agents across platforms and teams, the lack of consistent identity verification creates significant risks, including unauthorized access, data exposure, and compliance gaps. GoDaddy ANS extends DNS—the internet's global directory—to serve as a public registry for AI agents. Once registered, an agent's identity is instantly verifiable worldwide, providing a "digital passport" that builds trust.

MuleSoft Agent Fabric intelligently discovers, orchestrates, and governs AI agents regardless of origin. By integrating ANS, MuleSoft customers can:

  • Automatically surface verified agents from a trusted registry
  • Review publisher details and cryptographic proof before deployment
  • Enforce granular access policies to protect APIs, data, and systems
  • Accelerate safe agent adoption without compromising security

This integration eliminates the difficult tradeoff between speed and safety, enabling businesses to scale agentic AI with confidence.

"The agentic ecosystem on the open internet is exploding, so trust and identity need to keep up," said Travis Muhlestein, chief technology officer of product and AI at GoDaddy. "This integration helps organizations verify the identity of AI agents so they can scale adoption with stronger confidence and accountability."

"Open ecosystems have always been critical for enterprise success, and we are committed to building one where customers can safely discover and govern AI agents, regardless of where they originated," said Andrew Comstock, SVP & GM, MuleSoft at Salesforce. "By integrating GoDaddy's ANS with MuleSoft Agent Fabric, we're providing the 'digital passport' customers need to manage agent sprawl and help ensure every agent in their catalog is authenticated and trustworthy."
