Genspark AI Workspace 4.0 introduces Genspark Claw for Desktop and native AI agents in Microsoft Office, bringing AI directly to local files and everyday work apps like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Genspark.ai has announced the launch of Genspark AI Workspace 4.0, significantly expanding the capabilities of its AI employee, Genspark Claw. The update brings AI directly to users’ local computers and integrates it natively into Microsoft Office applications, allowing Claw to work more seamlessly within everyday work environments.
For the first time, Genspark Claw is available as a native desktop client. This allows it to operate directly on the user’s local machine, accessing files without requiring manual uploads. It can also handle web-based tasks such as filling out forms, researching information, or navigating online tools end-to-end.
Key capabilities of Genspark Claw for Desktop include:
Genspark’s AI agents are now embedded directly inside Microsoft Office as native plugins, eliminating the need to switch between applications.
"The way people work is being fundamentally rewritten. We built Genspark around the belief that AI should operate as a true employee, one that works across your systems, your files, and your applications without being told where to go or how to start,” said Eric Jing, CEO and co-founder of Genspark. “Bringing that to the desktop and into the tools people already use every day, like Microsoft Office, is the natural next step in making that vision real."
The new version also introduces Genspark Advanced Workflows, an automation engine designed to handle complex, multi-step tasks more efficiently. Additionally, Speakly now offers Live Translation for real-time multilingual support in meetings and video calls, along with AI Meeting Notes that automatically join scheduled meetings, capture notes, and distribute summaries to attendees.
This rapid release — just three weeks after Workspace 3.0 — reflects Genspark’s momentum, as the company has achieved $250 million in annual run rate within 12 months of launch.
Genspark AI Workspace 4.0 strengthens the platform’s position as an agentic AI solution that integrates deeply into users’ existing tools and local environments, helping knowledge workers accomplish more with less friction.
