Dynatrace has unveiled Dynatrace Intelligence Agents at Perform 2026, a suite of ready-to-use, domain-specific agents built on Dynatrace Intelligence—the industry’s first agentic operations system. These agents extend site reliability engineering (SRE), development, and security teams with trusted, autonomous capabilities, enabling organizations to detect anomalies, reason causally, predict outcomes, and execute precise actions at scale while maintaining governance and explainability.
Enterprises face escalating complexity as AI permeates software and business workflows. Dynatrace Intelligence Agents shift operations from reactive firefighting to proactive, autonomous management. Unlike probabilistic LLMs, these agents rely on deterministic insight from real-time observability, ensuring precision, reduced costs, and scalable supervised autonomy. They break down domain silos, minimize cross-team escalations, and accelerate release cycles with fewer production incidents.
Dynatrace Intelligence Agents compress time-to-resolution through coordinated triage, guided remediation, and automated responses. They enhance customer experiences by optimizing engagement flows, resolving issues earlier, and preventing recurrence. Operational toil decreases as repeatable tasks in service management, reliability, and security are automated. Best practices scale through codified expertise, while policy-driven governance and explainable actions build confidence and control.
Agents integrate with external platforms and partner agents, enabling action across DevOps pipelines, enterprise workflows, and tools from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, and others. For example, upon detecting a high-impact vulnerability, agents correlate evidence from logs, traces, runtime behavior, and detections, then generate prioritized response plans that trigger automated actions in connected systems—moving from alert to resolution in minutes.
“The real ROI in Dynatrace Intelligent Agents comes from precision, not prompts. Deterministic AI, unlike LLMs, reduces costs, increases trust, and enables supervised autonomy that enterprises can actually scale. Add the work that Dynatrace has done to build process-oriented agents, such as the SRE, Developer, and Security Agents, and organizations should expect domain-silos to be broken down, leading to fewer cross-team escalations and faster release cycles with fewer production failures,” says Rob Strechay, Principal Analyst, TheCUBE research & Smuget Consulting.
“Organizations will see an explosion of AI agents in the coming year,” said Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace. “The effectiveness of these initiatives depends on deterministic insight into how agents interact. By anchoring a trusted ecosystem of technology partners, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, to intelligent automation platforms like ServiceNow, we’re helping customers shift from managing incidents to managing intelligence. Together, we’re creating a self-healing foundation that turns cloud complexity into a strategic advantage and enables enterprises to accelerate innovation, optimize performance, and achieve zero-outage outcomes.”
