DevRev has expanded its enterprise AI platform, Computer, by introducing Voice AI for self-service customer support. The new capability enables AI agents to handle live voice conversations while leveraging the same organizational memory that powers chat and email, allowing enterprises to deliver faster, context-aware customer support without deploying a separate voice AI platform.
As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, the challenge is shifting from enabling natural conversations to resolving customer issues in real time. DevRev's Voice AI addresses this gap by connecting enterprise data across business systems, allowing AI agents to reason, act, and complete customer requests during live calls while maintaining governance and security.
DevRev has introduced Voice AI as part of its Customer Agent within Computer, enabling enterprises to bring AI-powered voice support into existing customer service operations. Instead of functioning as a standalone voice solution, Voice AI extends the same organizational memory already used across chat and email channels.
By accessing synchronized enterprise data—including customer records, support tickets, engineering systems, documentation, orders, and business applications—the AI agent can understand customer issues, reason across multiple systems, initiate workflows, and document actions while the customer remains on the call.
"Voice has become another interface for AI,” said Manoj Agarwal, Co-Founder and President at DevRev. "The interesting engineering problem isn’t making an agent sound more natural. It’s giving an agent enough context to make the right decision while the customer is still on the line. In an enterprise, the answer rarely lives in one place. It lives across tickets, documentation, customer records, orders, engineering systems, and business applications. If an agent can't reason within that context, it must eventually hand the conversation to someone who can. Shared organizational memory changes that by giving an agent enough context to resolve a problem instead of simply responding to it.”
DevRev's Computer continuously synchronizes enterprise information while preserving existing access permissions. With Voice AI, this shared organizational memory becomes available during live customer conversations, allowing the AI to retrieve accurate information across connected systems.
When an issue requires human intervention, Voice AI transfers the conversation along with the complete context, eliminating the need for customers to repeat information. The platform also supports multilingual conversations with low-latency speech while automatically recording, transcribing, and analyzing every interaction.
Voice AI has been designed specifically for enterprise production environments. Organizations can integrate the solution with existing SIP-based telephony infrastructure without deploying an additional AI platform or rebuilding existing workflows.
According to DevRev, organizations can deploy an initial working version of Voice AI within hours as Computer studies business data and continuously improves recommendations based on real customer interactions. Governance remains consistent through inherited field-level permissions, ensuring that every interaction is auditable and every action remains traceable.
To accelerate its Voice AI roadmap, DevRev has appointed Jennifer Heape to lead the Voice AI product organization. Heape previously co-founded Vixen Labs and has extensive experience developing enterprise conversational AI products.
“I joined DevRev because the company is focused on what customers actually care about: resolving their issue during the conversation with customer support,” said Heape. “A call can sound polished and still be a poor experience if the agent cannot reach the information needed to solve the problem. Customers do not care which system holds the answer. They care whether they have to repeat themselves, wait for a transfer, or call back again. Bringing voice into Computer means the conversation can carry the full business context with it, and that is what makes DevRev’s Voice AI so exciting.”
DevRev stated that Voice AI is powered by the same architecture validated through Enterprise-Bench, its open benchmark for evaluating enterprise AI systems in production environments.
According to the company, Computer achieved 94.3% accuracy on Enterprise-Bench while using four times fewer tokens per correct answer than Claude Code on identical tasks using the same AI model. DevRev attributes the performance gains to its enterprise architecture and organizational memory rather than differences in the underlying language model.
Voice AI extends this architecture to voice interactions, allowing enterprises to provide consistent AI-driven customer support across chat, email, and live voice conversations.
DevRev's latest launch reflects the growing demand for enterprise AI solutions that prioritize issue resolution rather than simple conversational automation. By combining organizational memory, enterprise governance, and cross-system reasoning, the company aims to help organizations deliver more effective AI-powered customer support across every communication channel.
DevRev is an enterprise AI company. Its product, Computer, builds a knowledge graph of each customer’s business, synced from their existing systems with permissions intact, and uses that graph to power enterprise search, employee service desks, and self-service customer support, including voice. Founded in 2020 and backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield, DevRev is led by co-founder and CEO Dheeraj Pandey, former co-founder and CEO of Nutanix and an Adobe board member, alongside co-founder Manoj Agarwal, former SVP of Engineering at Nutanix. Headquartered in Palo Alto, DevRev operates globally across eight offices.
