On May 8, 2026, CTONE held its flagship AI Computing Strategy Transformation Event in Shenzhen, marking a pivotal shift in the company's identity. Formerly known as a global leader in Mini PCs, CTONE is now positioning itself as a "builder of the AI computing ecosystem." The company introduced the "Agent Computer era," a vision where AI endpoints prioritize data privacy and localized computing power to move intelligence from the cloud to edge devices. With an "All in AI" strategy, CTONE aims to enable AI to complete up to 90% of users' daily tasks through its new hardware and ecosystem partnerships.

  • Strategic Pivot: CTONE is transitioning from a Mini PC manufacturer to an AI computing ecosystem builder.

  • The "Agent Computer": A new category of hardware designed to serve as a localized, intelligent entry point for personal and enterprise AI.

  • Tiered Product Strategy: CTONE unveiled three product lines developed with partners like SenseTime (skill-based agents) and Alibaba Cloud (edge-cloud synergy).

  • Industrial Applications: New subsidiary KZHY launched an AI Agent Workstation for private clouds, robotics, and digital humans.

  • Innovative Hardware: Launched a portable Agent NAS in partnership with Hello Tech Energy, integrating storage and compute power.

  • Global Reach: Leveraging 13 years of manufacturing and a sales network spanning 180+ countries to lead the AI terminal industry.

Defining the "Agent Computer Era"

CTONE’s leadership believes that the next phase of AI growth will happen at the edge. By focusing on localized computing, CTONE addresses the growing enterprise and consumer demand for data privacy and reduced latency. Group Chairman Kevin Dou emphasized that the Agent Computer is designed to be as ubiquitous as the smartphone, functioning as a proactive participant in the user's workflow rather than a passive tool.

"AI will become as ubiquitous as smartphones and PCs," stated Kevin Dou, Group Chairman. "The CTONE Agent Computer will serve as a key intelligent entry point... with the goal of enabling AI to complete 80%–90% of users' daily tasks."

A Multi-Layered Product Ecosystem

The launch event detailed a comprehensive hardware roadmap tailored to different user needs:

  • Entry-Level Series: Built with SenseTime, featuring over 200 pre-installed "skill agents" for immediate productivity.

  • Mid-Tier Series: Developed with Alibaba Cloud to support local model deployment with seamless edge-cloud synchronization.

  • Professional Series: Optimized for high-performance, on-device large-scale model (LLM) computing.

  • Vertical Solutions: The KZHY AI Agent Workstation provides full-stack support for industrial robotics and AI digital humans, catering to specific vertical industries.

Strengthening the AI Alliance

The event was attended by over 1,500 industry leaders, signaling strong ecosystem support from tech giants including Intel, AMD, and Moore Threads. By opening the "CTONE AI Computing Ecosystem Exhibition Hall," the company showcased real-world applications of its tech in energy, healthcare, and large model training. This collaborative approach, combined with CTONE’s manufacturing heritage, provides a robust foundation for scaling AI-native terminals globally.
