Data Activate: Enables organizations to classify, curate, and prepare vetted datasets for AI platforms while excluding sensitive information like PII.
AI Protect: Provides discovery and inventory of AI agents, mapping their activities to identify vulnerabilities and perform full-stack recovery.
AI Studio: A new environment for creating custom AI agents and accessing a repository of built-in agents for common resilience use cases.

The new Data Activate offering allows organizations to curate data from protected backup copies, converting them into industry-standard formats like Apache Iceberg and Parquet for use with large language models. This process ensures that AI pipelines stay in sync with trusted, updated information. Simultaneously, AI Protect addresses the "unbounded changes" that AI agents can enact across systems. By providing a unified approach to inventorying these agents, Commvault helps IT leaders understand the impact of agent-driven modifications and ensures they can recover the entire application stack back to a known good state if an agent compromises system integrity.
AI Studio represents a shift toward specialized resilience automation. Organizations can now build custom agents that securely utilize Commvault’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to integrate with other enterprise systems.
