At Imagine today, Automation Anywhere announced new capabilities for its Agentic Process Automation (APA) platform aimed at helping organizations transition toward Autonomous Enterprises. The latest updates are designed to enable enterprises to orchestrate, govern, and execute AI-driven business processes reliably across departments, systems, and enterprise operations.
The company’s latest enhancements focus on enterprise-wide coordination of AI-powered workflows as organizations move beyond AI pilots and into large-scale operational deployments.
As enterprises increasingly deploy AI across business-critical operations, organizations are facing challenges in coordinating workflows that span multiple systems, teams, and processes. According to Automation Anywhere, isolated AI agents alone are not sufficient to manage complex enterprise operations at scale.

The company stated that its APA platform is designed to orchestrate enterprise workflows by managing task sequencing, approvals, routing decisions, human interactions, APIs, automations, and AI agents within unified processes.
Enterprise workflows often operate across a mix of applications and platforms, including Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, and internally developed systems. Automation Anywhere’s new orchestration capabilities are designed to coordinate execution across these environments while governing interactions between systems, people, and AI-driven automations.
The platform aims to streamline cross-functional workflows while reducing operational silos that can limit enterprise AI adoption.
Automation Anywhere also introduced Automation Anywhere Code (AAI Code), a low-code development tool designed to help enterprises rapidly build AI-driven applications and workflows.
The tool enables teams to create enterprise-grade applications with user interfaces, automation processes, agents, contextual logic, and security controls in as little as one week. Organizations can build workflows using natural language prompts or by leveraging existing enterprise process materials such as standard operating procedures, documents, diagrams, and screenshots.
Unlike general-purpose AI coding tools, Automation Anywhere stated that AAI Code prioritizes governance and operational planning before deployment to help organizations securely scale AI-powered processes.
A key addition to the company’s Process Reasoning Engine (PRE) is the new Context Intelligence Graph, designed to provide relevant contextual information for specific enterprise tasks and workflow decisions.
The technology connects with enterprise systems of record, policies, documents, knowledge bases, and execution histories to automatically generate associations and metadata that help AI systems retrieve context relevant to each process step.
Automation Anywhere said internal evaluations across multiple business domains showed that agents using PRE with Context Intelligence Graph achieved more than 30% higher accuracy compared to agents operating without the capability.
The company noted that limiting AI systems to relevant context can improve execution speed, reduce costs, and minimize exposure to unnecessary or sensitive enterprise data.
Automation Anywhere also announced enhancements focused on governance, testing, and operational oversight for AI-driven workflows.
Available immediately, AI Evaluations allows organizations to assess agent performance during both design and runtime stages. The feature measures whether agents produce accurate outcomes, use appropriate tools, and follow intended execution paths.
The company also introduced a process simulation environment that enables enterprises to test workflows against failures, exceptions, and edge-case scenarios before deployment into production environments.
Together, these capabilities are intended to help organizations proactively identify issues, improve AI-driven workflows, and maintain operational reliability after deployment.
Automation Anywhere stated that its APA platform is already used by thousands of organizations globally across industries including healthcare, retail, telecommunications, financial services, and the public sector.
One example highlighted by the company is the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in the United Kingdom, which is using Agentic Process Automation to redesign administrative operations. The initiative aims to automate between 50% and 70% of administrative work while reducing recruitment timelines and temporary staffing costs.
Several of the newly announced features are currently available, while others are scheduled for preview and general availability throughout 2026.
