Amplitude, Inc., the leading AI analytics platform, has unveiled a groundbreaking set of agentic AI analytics agents designed to bridge the growing divide between accelerated feature shipping and actionable user understanding. As AI coding tools enable teams to build and deploy software at unprecedented speed, Amplitude’s new agents provide continuous, autonomous behavioral analysis to guide what to build next.

Quick Intel

  • Amplitude introduces Global Agent for natural-language queries, instant dashboard creation, root-cause analysis, and actionable recommendations with direct execution in the platform.
  • Four specialized agents focus on dashboard monitoring, session replay analysis, web experimentation, and unstructured feedback processing.
  • Dashboard Monitoring Agent detects metric changes within hours, investigates causes, and delivers prioritized insights via Slack or email.
  • Session Replay Agent reviews hundreds of sessions continuously, identifies friction points, quantifies revenue impact, and suggests precise fixes.
  • Web Experimentation Agent designs, launches, analyzes, and recommends decisions for experiments while maintaining human oversight.
  • AI Feedback Agent maps unstructured survey and support ticket feedback to actual user behavior for actionable themes and priorities.
  • MCP updates integrate Amplitude behavioral data into tools like Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma, Lovable, Notion, GitHub, AWS Kiro, Atlassian Rovo, and Outreach.
  • Early adopters including NTT DOCOMO and Mercado Libre report streamlined analysis, improved conversion rates, lower acquisition costs, and reduced reliance on manual reporting.

Autonomous Agents Close the Insight-to-Action Gap

The explosion of AI coding assistants has transformed software development velocity, but it has also widened the gap between shipping features and truly understanding user impact. Amplitude’s agentic AI analytics platform addresses this by embedding purpose-built agents within a behavioral data-native system, delivering contextual, accurate insights that go beyond simple data queries.

“We’re entering a new era of analytics—one where AI can monitor your product around the clock, and free up your team to focus on improving the experience,” said Spenser Skates, co-founder and CEO at Amplitude. “Today, we’re launching the first fully autonomous analytics agent. It’s going to reinvent how product decisions get made.”

The Global Agent allows teams to ask complex questions in plain language and receive comprehensive answers, including dashboards, funnel breakdowns, experiment results, segment analysis, and journey insights. It proactively investigates anomalies, explains drivers of change, and recommends next steps—often executing them directly within Amplitude.

Specialized agents automate repetitive, high-value tasks:

  • Dashboard Monitoring Agent continuously watches key metrics and surfaces significant changes with root-cause explanations and action recommendations.
  • Session Replay Agent scans user sessions at scale to uncover hidden friction points, calculate revenue impact, and propose targeted fixes.
  • Web Experimentation Agent handles end-to-end experimentation workflows while preserving human-in-the-loop control for critical decisions.
  • AI Feedback Agent transforms unstructured feedback into structured, behavior-linked insights for faster prioritization.

Deep Integration into Daily Workflows

Through expanded Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, Amplitude brings behavioral analytics directly into the tools teams already use. Developers can validate features and measure impact inside Cursor or Claude Code; designers can refine prototypes in Figma Make with data-backed insights; product teams can surface opportunities in Notion; and sales teams can personalize outreach using real user signals.

Early customer results highlight the platform’s impact:

“Amplitude has helped NTT DOCOMO scale self-serve analytics to more than 1,000 active users and significantly reduce the time required to analyze campaign effectiveness,” said Takashi Suzuki, SVP and GM of the Data Platform Department at NTT DOCOMO. “With Amplitude AI Agents, our teams can streamline analysis directly from existing dashboards, helping us move faster while improving conversion rates and lowering cost per acquisition.”

“Increasing our users required more than just access to data. It required structure and automation,” said Matias Caratti, Product Shipping Supervisor, Mercado Libre. “Dashboards provided a single source of truth, and AI Agents enabled us to find data on our own. We didn’t have to rely on manual reports, and we were provided with automatic insights on funnel performance, countries with the best conversion, and fluctuations in contact rate."

“Amplitude MCP and Skills bring user insights directly into agent context in Cursor,” said Joshua Ma, Engineering Lead at Cursor. “This allows teams to quickly ship features, measure impact, and build smarter experiments for the next release.”
