Adobe has introduced Firefly AI Assistant, powered by its creative agent, along with significant expansions to generative AI capabilities in Adobe Firefly. These innovations bring agentic creativity into a single conversational interface while enhancing video and image editing tools.
Firefly AI Assistant represents a fundamental shift in creative workflows. Creators can describe their desired outcome in their own words, and the assistant handles orchestration and execution of complex, multi-step processes across Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications and generative AI models within a unified conversational interface.
This approach keeps creators in full control — they provide the vision, judgment, and creative direction while the assistant manages the technical execution. The assistant maintains context across sessions and seamlessly transitions into individual Adobe apps.
Key capabilities of Firefly AI Assistant include a single unified conversational interface, AI-supported but creator-led interactions, pre-built creative skills for complex tasks, personalization based on user preferences, asset awareness, and integrated review workflows with Frame.io.

Adobe has expanded Firefly Video Editor with studio-quality audio tools, including Enhance Speech for dialogue cleanup, noise and reverb reduction, and balanced mixing of speech, music, and ambience. New color adjustment controls allow fine-tuning of exposure, contrast, saturation, temperature, and other visual elements with intuitive sliders and one-click looks. Direct integration with Adobe Stock provides access to over 800 million licensed assets.
For image editing, Precision Flow enables rapid exploration of variations from a single prompt using an intuitive slider, while AI Markup gives hands-on control through brush, rectangle, or reference image tools to precisely place or refine elements.
Firefly now offers more than 30 industry-leading creative AI models, with the addition of Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni for advanced video generation and control. These join models from Google, Runway, Luma AI, Black Forest Labs, ElevenLabs, Topaz Labs, and Adobe’s own commercially safe Firefly models, giving creators greater choice and flexibility.
