Scrum Alliance has elected Roger Chou to its Board of Directors, reinforcing its commitment to global agile leadership and community representation. Elected directly by the organization's global membership, Chou brings extensive expertise in agile transformation, executive leadership training, and organizational strategy, while adding valuable Asia-Pacific representation to the board.
Scrum Alliance announced the election of Roger Chou to its Board of Directors following a vote by the organization's global membership. His appointment brings both community-driven representation and extensive experience in agile leadership, organizational governance, and executive education.
As Taiwan's first Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Chou also adds an important Asia-Pacific perspective to the board, reflecting Scrum Alliance's continued focus on supporting the global growth of agile practices and professional development.
Throughout his career, Chou has focused on helping executive leadership teams better understand and support agile delivery teams. His work emphasizes aligning organizational strategy with agile execution to foster stronger collaboration across all levels of an organization.
He has delivered Certified ScrumMaster training to more than 300 CEOs while training hundreds of senior executives, helping organizations adopt agile principles beyond development teams and into leadership decision-making.
In addition to his agile expertise, Chou brings significant experience in long-term strategic planning, governance, and organizational development. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from National Sun Yat-sen University, where his research focused on executive-level strategy.
