Hackett joins Censys during a period of significant growth as AI enables attackers to operate at greater speed and scale, making real-time Internet visibility and context essential for defending against increasingly automated threats. During the first half of 2026, the company increased the number of customers with more than $1 million in annual recurring revenue by 400%, grew partner-sourced bookings by 186%, and expanded the customer base for the Censys Platform by 115%.

Hackett brings more than 20 years of finance experience across the technology, cybersecurity, and SaaS industries. He joins Censys from Armis, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Finance and helped scale the company through four years of hypergrowth to more than $340 million in annual recurring revenue, culminating in its $7.75 billion acquisition by ServiceNow. Previously, he spent more than six years at ServiceNow in increasingly senior finance roles as the company scaled its global business. Earlier in his career, Hackett held various finance positions at NXP Semiconductors and Symantec. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
