Opti9 Technologies LLC, a leading North American cloud, data protection, cybersecurity and managed services provider, today announced that it has acquired Hut 8's Canadian managed cloud business. Announced from Toronto, acquisition builds on Opti9's 15-year presence in Canada, expanding its cloud presence and geographic reach for customers and channel partners across country.

Geographic Flexibility and Channel Partner Expansion

Acquisition will expand Opti9's managed cloud presence across additional Canadian data center locations, providing greater geographic flexibility for channel partners and customers. Expanded footprint will provide greater flexibility to address customer requirements for workload location, data residency, resiliency and disaster recovery within Canada. Through deep bench of technical and operational resources and leading technology partnerships, Opti9 operates infrastructure across 13 data centers globally and delivers integrated portfolio spanning private, public and hybrid cloud, data protection and disaster recovery, cybersecurity, compliance and managed technology services.
