Tandems, an AI-native wealth operating system for financial advisors, has announced the launch of Hamilton, a new AI assistant that can handle up to 80% of a financial advisor's daily tasks. Hamilton plugs natively into the majority of core systems that its customers use across banking and wealth, unlocks dozens of tools Tandems has custom-built for advisors, and runs on proprietary verticalized AI built on a multi-model architecture.

  • Tandems has launched Hamilton, an AI assistant that can handle up to 80% of an advisor's daily tasks.

  • Hamilton plugs natively into the majority of core systems customers use across banking and wealth.

  • Its Model Harness Optimizer draws on Claude by Anthropic, OpenAI's ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, and also allows customers to connect their own custom models.

  • Hamilton is trained on decades of knowledge from more than 5,000 advisors at institutions including Wells Fargo, Scotiabank, Citizens and New York Life.

  • Tandems has pre-integrated with brokerage, banking, CRM and productivity systems including Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, FIS, Fiserv, Salesforce and Microsoft.

  • Tandems currently has $80 billion in assets and 2.7 million accounts on its platform.

"When you dig into AI products for financial advisors today, what you get are largely notetakers. Hamilton actually makes wealth advisors more efficient and more impactful for their clients, rather than summarizing what needs to be done," said Mike Sha, co-founder and CEO of Tandems. "Hamilton is a core pillar of Tandems' product vision, leveraging AI to help transform an industry facing a shrinking pool of advisors and an explosion in demand, and giving advisors the financial intelligence they need to provide deeper insight and better client experiences."

Beyond Notetaking

Tandems was founded in 2006, and Hamilton is built from the knowledge it has gained over decades studying the workflow of advisors at major financial institutions. Hamilton leverages this deep domain knowledge, understanding the time in an advisor's day taken up by repetitive tasks across legacy systems. It is specifically trained on this work and is capable of handling everything from complex, higher-risk workflows around financial planning and portfolio rebalancing through to time-consuming client reviews, meeting preparation, proactive client communication, account opening, asset transfer, and paperwork.

Hamilton turns Tandems' WealthOS, comprising seven systems and 45 best-in-class tools, into one intuitive assistant, providing banks, insurance companies and large wealth management firms with an enterprise-grade way to deploy AI across their advisor force.

Security and Control

Hamilton provides advisors with a full view of each client across CRM and brokerage systems, adjusts each conversation to the requirements of state AI laws and retains a full audit log of every AI-assisted interaction. Customers can shut off a single skill, model or all AI activity in real time. Security protections built into WealthOS also guard against data leakage, prompt injection and exfiltration, and can detect and shut off prohibited use cases.
