Moody’s Corporation and Anthropic have announced a major strategic integration: Moody’s Agentic Solutions (MAS) is now available natively across the Anthropic Claude ecosystem. By utilizing a purpose-built Model Context Protocol (MCP) application, Moody’s decision-grade risk intelligence is now embedded directly into Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, and Claude Enterprise. This partnership allows financial and compliance professionals to execute high-stakes analysis within their primary AI environment without sacrificing auditability or data integrity.
Native Integration: Moody’s agents now run natively in Claude via MCP.

The integration represents a shift from general-purpose AI chat to protocol-level intelligence. By connecting Moody’s data via MCP, Claude agents can retrieve and process risk data inline. This eliminates the "fragmentation tax" where analysts typically jump between multiple terminals and spreadsheets to gather ratings and research.

The MAS agents focus on two primary high-stakes areas:
Credit Analysis: Automates the assembly of ratings, research, and financial data into defensible memos and scorecard assessments.
KYC & Compliance: Consolidates entity screening, ownership mapping, adverse media analysis, and sanctions checks into a single interactive report.
Because these agents are grounded in Moody's Connected Intelligence architecture, the outputs meet the rigorous standards for explainability and "defensible" logic required by global regulators.
While Anthropic provides the "frontier" AI environment, Moody’s provides the specialized data foundation. This "all-in" approach also extends to Moody's internal operations; the corporation is adopting Claude Code and Claude Enterprise to speed up its own software development and product lifecycles.
