eBase Solutions has been acquired by Kleinschmidt Inc. in a strategic move aimed at combining supply chain integration expertise with enterprise-wide digital transformation capabilities. The acquisition brings together two complementary technology providers focused on helping organizations streamline connectivity, automate operations, and improve data-driven decision-making.
The combined organization plans to deliver integrated solutions that connect external supply chain ecosystems with internal enterprise systems, enabling businesses to unlock greater operational visibility and efficiency.
Kleinschmidt is known for enabling business-to-business integration across supply chains through EDI, API, and B2B data exchange services. eBase Solutions specializes in enterprise integration, workflow automation, IoT deployment, and operational analytics.
By combining these capabilities, the organizations aim to provide customers with a unified approach to both external ecosystem connectivity and internal operational integration.
"At eBase, our mission has always been to help organizations become true digital enterprises," said Felix Kimelman, CEO, eBase Solutions. "Kleinschmidt excels at connecting businesses across their supply chains. By combining that with our ability to digitize and integrate processes within the enterprise, we can now deliver a truly end-to-end solution—from external data exchange through to internal automation, operational analytics, and insight."
According to the companies, the partnership will help enterprises eliminate disconnected systems and improve how data moves across operational environments.
The combined organization plans to deliver several expanded capabilities, including end-to-end enterprise integration powered by IBM integration and automation technologies. The companies also highlighted plans to strengthen IoT integration and operational visibility using the Cumulocity Industrial IoT platform.
Additionally, the partnership will incorporate Minitab analytics technology to help organizations apply predictive analytics and continuous improvement methodologies across operational and supply chain datasets.
The companies stated that the expanded offering will enable organizations to integrate device-generated data into enterprise systems, improve operational responsiveness, and generate deeper business insights from connected environments.
Kleinschmidt emphasized that the acquisition extends its capabilities beyond external connectivity into enterprise-wide operational integration.
"Our focus has always been on enabling efficient, connected supply chains through integration," said Dan Heinen, President & CEO, Kleinschmidt Inc. "With eBase, we extend that capability inside the enterprise—giving our clients the ability to fully integrate their operations and harness data across their entire organization."
eBase Solutions will continue operating under its existing brand following the acquisition, while leveraging Kleinschmidt’s broader customer network and supply chain integration expertise.
The acquisition reflects growing enterprise demand for unified digital transformation strategies that combine supply chain connectivity, automation, analytics, and IoT technologies into a single operational framework.
