Streamlined MISRA C:2025 Compliance

Parasoft C/C++test 2025.1 offers complete support for MISRA C:2025, refining guidelines from MISRA C:2023 by removing obsolete rules and clarifying AI-generated code treatment. AI Documentation Assistant for Productivity

The new AI documentation assistant provides rapid answers to task-focused queries, improving access to Parasoft’s user documentation. Integrated with Microsoft Copilot and VS Code, it enhances static and dynamic testing usability, reducing onboarding time and boosting developer efficiency while maximizing ROI on testing automation.

Enhanced Security with CWE Checks

C/C++test 2025.1 strengthens static application security testing with nearly 70 new CWE checks, targeting vulnerabilities like memory corruption and logic flaws. This aligns with standards like ISO 21434 and IEC 62304, enabling early detection of critical issues to reduce costs and enhance software security in regulated industries.

Simplified Multi-Standard Transitions

The release introduces intelligent suppression reuse, automatically applying existing suppressions across equivalent rules in standards like AUTOSAR C++14 and MISRA C++ 2023. This eliminates manual re-suppression efforts, saving time and preserving prior investments in compliance for teams managing multiple coding standards.

GoogleTest Certification for Safety-Critical Testing

Parasoft is working toward TÜV-certified GoogleTest support in a future C/C++test CT release, bridging open-source testing frameworks with safety-critical requirements.
