Symetri, part of Addnode Group, has solidified its position as a leading Autodesk Platinum Partner with the acquisition of TPM’s Autodesk and Bluebeam Division. TPM, with nearly 40 years as an Autodesk partner and 15 years with Bluebeam, brings a robust client base of over 1,200 customers, primarily in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector, alongside manufacturing clients. The acquisition includes TPM’s operations across six locations in Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Atlanta, Georgia.
“This strategic partnership is a win for both TPM and Symetri, but most importantly, it’s a win for the Autodesk and Bluebeam clients,” said Kevin Schlack, CEO, Symetri US. “They will benefit from a like-minded organization with expanded resources and capabilities, while continuing to work with the same trusted TPM team members now under the Symetri brand.”
The acquisition ensures continuity for TPM’s clients, who will continue working with the same team, now backed by Symetri’s global resources and expertise. Symetri’s offerings, including proprietary tools like Naviate and Sovelia, enhance workflows for design, engineering, and construction professionals. This move aligns with Symetri’s strategy to expand its U.S. footprint, following previous acquisitions like Microdesk and Team D3.
“I am beyond excited about this partnership with Symetri and what this means for our Autodesk and Bluebeam customers,” said Chris Fay, President, TPM, Inc. “Not only will they be supported by an industry leading partner, but also experience a very similar culture, and the same team members that will enhance their success and navigate their transition from TPM to Symetri.”
For TPM, divesting its Autodesk and Bluebeam Division allows a sharper focus on other growth areas, including Solidworks, Driveworks, TrebleHook, 3D Printing, and Color Lab. This aligns with TPM’s long-term strategy to innovate in manufacturing, design automation, and related fields, leveraging its 40-year legacy as a trusted technology partner.
