Vise Brings AI-Guided SDK Development to social.plus

social.plus has announced Vise, a new developer tool designed to improve AI-assisted software development by guiding coding agents through validated SDK integrations. The solution combines a local CLI with an installable coding-agent skill, enabling AI assistants to move from feature requests to deployment-ready integrations using structured validation workflows.

Vise builds on the company's existing Model Context Protocol (MCP) server by extending AI capabilities from platform access into the software development process itself.

Addressing AI Coding Challenges

According to social.plus, AI coding assistants can generate code quickly but often lack sufficient understanding of platform-specific SDKs. As a result, developers frequently encounter inaccurate implementations, repeated code generation attempts, runtime failures, or incomplete integrations that require extensive manual verification.

Vise addresses these issues by guiding coding agents through a structured development process. The workflow begins by clarifying feature requests, recommending appropriate implementation approaches, grounding development in current social.plus SDK documentation, and validating integrations before deployment.

More Than 400 Platform Validation Checks

The new tool performs over 400 automated validation checks covering iOS, Android, Web, Flutter, and React Native environments.

These checks evaluate SDK setup, implementation completeness, source code validation, target discovery, security controls, secret scanning, and privileged field usage. Teams can also integrate Vise into continuous integration (CI) pipelines using the vise check --ci workflow, allowing deployments only after validation requirements have been satisfied.

Each integration generates a versioned sp-vise/ contract containing deterministic validation results and implementation evidence, providing reviewers with standardized documentation instead of relying on AI-generated development transcripts.

Separating Build Success from Runtime Validation

One of Vise's distinguishing features is its separation of build completion from runtime verification. While an application may successfully compile, Vise requires additional runtime evidence—such as screenshots or device validation—before confirming that functionality has been proven.

If runtime evidence is unavailable, the platform explicitly identifies the implementation as unverified rather than assuming successful execution.

The platform also supports long-term governance by recording existing application baselines and distinguishing previous integrations from newly introduced functionality. Through vise check --all-engagements, development teams can continuously validate both current and historical integrations across projects.

Designed for Developers and Technical Reviewers

Vise is intended for developers using AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, and Visual Studio Code. At the same time, it provides technical reviewers and engineering leaders with standardized validation artifacts that simplify code review and deployment verification across multiple development teams.

The preview release operates entirely on developers' local machines without uploading source code, project files, or user queries, helping organizations maintain security while adopting AI-assisted software development workflows.
