Global commerce platform WEX has strengthened its executive leadership team with a key appointment focused on talent and organizational strategy. The company has announced Sandy Kuohn as its new Chief People Officer, tasking her with aligning the company's global workforce with its strategic goals of disciplined growth and operational excellence.

Kuohn brings a proven record of scaling organizations and transforming human resources functions. Prior to joining WEX, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at City National Bank, a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada, where she led a comprehensive transformation of the HR organization. Her earlier career includes senior HR leadership roles at Huntington Bancshares Inc. and its acquired institutions, providing her with extensive experience in the financial services sector and in managing people strategies through growth and integration.
