Recruitics has announced the launch of the Open Job Context Protocol (OJCP), a vendor-neutral industry standard that enables AI agents and employers to communicate through structured job posting and application data.

OJCP was developed by Recruitics alongside a coalition of hiring technology organizations that includes Workday, Cross Country Healthcare, HiringCafe, AIApply, scale.jobs, and LoopCV.
Recruitics Chief Technology Officer Austin Anderson authored the specification, bringing together industry participants around a shared framework built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The protocol extends MCP by providing AI agents with structured job requirements and hiring criteria, enabling more accurate job matching before applications are submitted.
