Lenders One Cooperative has announced the appointment of Brena Nath as Vice President of Events Management. In her new role, Nath will lead the strategy, development, and execution of the organization’s events portfolio, including its flagship L1 Summit, while supporting member engagement and strengthening connections across the mortgage industry.
The appointment reflects Lenders One’s continued focus on delivering high-value industry events that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business growth among independent mortgage bankers, banks, credit unions, and preferred service providers.

Nath brings more than 13 years of professional experience spanning journalism, public relations, and event management within the housing and mortgage sectors.
She began her career at HousingWire before moving into public relations leadership at The Money Source, where she gained firsthand exposure to lender operations and strategic planning. Her experience provided valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing mortgage professionals and financial institutions.
Nath later returned to HousingWire, where she advanced to the role of Vice President of Events and Community. In that position, she oversaw the growth and development of the company’s events portfolio, including The Gathering, one of the industry’s well-known networking and leadership events.
Her contributions to the mortgage industry have also been recognized through the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Residential mPact Young Professionals Spotlight Award.
Nath expressed enthusiasm about joining the organization and contributing to its ongoing growth strategy.
