Diamond Technologies, Inc. (DTI) announced the launch of its new line of Embedded Computing Modules powered by NXP’s i.MX 8M series processors on June 23, 2025. These ultra-compact, high-performance, and energy-efficient modules aim to accelerate time-to-market for OEMs in regulated and non-regulated industries. DTI’s new Computing Modules, built on NXP’s i.MX 8M series, deliver powerful processing and real-time connectivity in compact form factors. The initial launch includes the DTI 8M Plus Quad, featuring four Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for machine learning and edge AI, and the DTI 8M Plus QuadLite. These modules are optimized for applications like barcode readers, RFID, vision inspection, and OEM gateways, integrating seamlessly with DTI’s proven data capture technology to simplify development.
