  • Vectra AI expanded cloud network observability across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
  • The update enhances visibility across cloud networks, identities, and hybrid environments.
  • Organizations can correlate cloud, identity, and network activity from a single platform.
  • The platform uses cloud-native flow and DNS telemetry for threat detection.
  • Vectra AI aims to reduce visibility gaps and accelerate security investigations.
  • The company was recently named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for NDR.

Vectra AI Strengthens Multi-Cloud Threat Detection Strategy

Vectra AI announced expanded cloud network observability capabilities designed to help organizations secure increasingly complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The company said the enhanced functionality advances its unified observability strategy by providing visibility across cloud network planes, cloud control planes, identities, SaaS environments, and on-premises infrastructure through a single platform.

As enterprises continue operating across multiple cloud providers, security teams often struggle to track how threats move between cloud environments, identities, and traditional infrastructure systems.

According to Vectra AI’s 2026 State of Threat Detection and Response Report, 69% of organizations currently rely on more than ten tools for detection and response operations, creating fragmented security workflows and operational inefficiencies.

"Running a multi-cloud environment without cloud network visibility is like running an airport without air traffic control. You may be able to see individual planes, but you can't understand how they are moving or interacting across the airspace. Security teams face the same challenge today. They can see individual cloud assets, identities, and alerts, but they often lack visibility into how attackers move between them across multiple clouds and hybrid environments," said Martin Roesch, Head of Cloud at Vectra AI.

"Only Vectra AI delivers frictionless, modern network observability, signal, and control across on-premises environments, cloud control planes, and cloud network planes in a single view. That gives defenders the visibility and context they need to detect attacker behavior earlier, investigate with greater confidence, and respond faster across hybrid cloud environments."

Unified Cloud Visibility Across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI

The expanded capabilities enable organizations to monitor and detect threats across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using cloud-native flow and DNS telemetry.

Vectra AI stated that the platform now offers:

  • Unified visibility across cloud control planes, network planes, identities, and hybrid environments
  • AI-assisted investigations and attack correlation
  • Cloud-native telemetry-based threat detection
  • Faster SOC investigation and response workflows

The company said the platform helps eliminate blind spots without requiring agents, packet mirroring infrastructure, or additional cloud security tooling.

Security operations teams can use the unified observability model to better understand attacker movement across networks, identities, and cloud services while accelerating threat prioritization and incident response.

Focus on AI-Driven Security Operations

Vectra AI positioned the announcement as part of the broader evolution of the Network Detection and Response (NDR) market, where organizations increasingly require integrated visibility across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

The company noted that the expansion follows its recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Detection and Response for the second consecutive year, with Gartner positioning Vectra AI highest for Ability to Execute.

Vectra AI also referenced Gartner’s 2026 Critical Capabilities for Network Detection and Response report, which recommends unified visibility and identity tracking across hybrid cloud environments as standard security requirements.

The company said its AI-powered platform is designed to help organizations detect modern attacks earlier, automate security operations, reduce investigation complexity, and improve resilience against evolving AI-driven cyber threats.
