Tenable has launched the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source AI registry designed specifically for the cybersecurity industry. Announced at Black Hat USA 2026, the platform provides security teams with a collaborative hub to discover, build, and share AI agents, skills, MCP servers, and multi-agent playbooks to strengthen cyber defense against increasingly sophisticated AI-driven threats.

Tenable has announced the launch of CyberAgents Exchange, a new open-source AI exchange created to encourage collaboration across the cybersecurity community.
The company describes the platform as the only cybersecurity-native registry dedicated to AI agents, AI skills, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and multi-agent security playbooks, helping security teams accelerate AI adoption without becoming dependent on vendor-specific ecosystems.
As organizations increasingly deploy AI to strengthen security operations, many teams continue building AI tools independently, often duplicating development efforts.
Tenable says existing AI exchanges are either designed for general-purpose use or restricted to specific vendor ecosystems, making it difficult for cybersecurity professionals to efficiently discover reusable AI components tailored to security operations.
CyberAgents Exchange is designed to eliminate these silos by offering an open, free-to-use platform that enables practitioners to collaborate on AI-powered cybersecurity tools.
The CyberAgents Exchange provides code-level transparency by identifying who created each AI component, when it was developed, and its peer-supported status.
This visibility allows organizations to evaluate and deploy AI components with greater confidence while enabling contributors to establish verifiable expertise in agentic AI for cybersecurity.
Tenable announced that SentinelOne and Recorded Future have joined the initiative as founding members.
Both companies will contribute AI agents, integration frameworks, and security playbooks to support a vendor-neutral ecosystem focused on defending against rapidly evolving AI-enabled cyber threats.

Alongside the platform launch, Tenable is hosting the SWARM: The Cybersecurity Agentic AI Build Event during Black Hat USA 2026, where cybersecurity professionals will collaborate to build open-source AI agents, skills, and MCP servers.
