Neo, the Agentic Software Control company, has announced the appointment of Scott Stout as Chief Revenue Officer. Stout will lead Neo's global revenue strategy, overseeing sales and channel partnerships as the company expands adoption of its agentic software security platform.
Neo has appointed Scott Stout as Chief Revenue Officer to lead global revenue strategy, sales and channel partnerships.
Stout brings more than two decades of cybersecurity experience, having served as Chief Revenue Officer of Cisco Security.
He spent 10 years at Palo Alto Networks and also held leadership positions at Halcyon, Deep Instinct, Imperva and Forcepoint.
Neo emerged from stealth in July with $100 million in funding to help enterprises identify agentic capabilities and enforce policy in real time.
The Neo platform addresses AI agents, AI-enabled applications, browsers, plugins and traditional software as those tools gain the ability to act on behalf of users.
Neo was founded by SentinelOne veterans and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures.
"Scott knows what it takes to build a global sales organization and translate demand for new security capabilities into sustained growth," said Nick Warner, CEO and co-founder of Neo. "Enterprises are adopting AI agents and adding agentic capabilities to the software they already use, creating an urgent need for visibility and control. Scott's experience building global teams and partner ecosystems will help Neo meet that demand."
"Agentic software is changing how work gets done, and security teams need a way to govern it as adoption grows," said Stout. "Neo has built a platform for that challenge. I'm excited to work with Nick and the team to grow our customer relationships and partner network, helping enterprises put the controls in place to adopt agentic software securely."
