Experian, a global data and technology leader, is advancing its cloud migration by selecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its preferred cloud provider. This strategic move leverages AWS’s analytics and generative AI capabilities to deliver real-time intelligence and innovative solutions for financial organizations.
Experian’s cloud-first strategy, in partnership with AWS, centralizes its technology platforms by migrating off mainframe computers and on-premises servers. This shift enhances performance, scalability, and reliability, enabling Experian to deliver faster, more secure data services. “Our initial migrations gave us enhanced performance, security, and reliability, making it an easy choice to take that a step farther and embrace a cloud-first strategy,” said Rodrigo Rodrigues, Chief Technology Officer at Experian.
Through a 10-year agreement, Experian is leveraging AWS for over 100 generative AI use cases, streamlining database migrations and developing new credit and financial analytics offerings. This integration automates data transfers, reduces downtime, and improves accuracy. “AWS is delighted to partner with Experian to unlock opportunities that drive innovation, increase agility, and accelerate their modernization,” said Scott Mullins, Managing Director, Worldwide Financial Services at AWS.
The migration has cut data processing time by 60% and reduced product launch timelines from months to weeks, enabling real-time credit data analysis. AWS’s robust security controls and threat detection ensure compliance and data protection, fostering trust across Experian’s client base. This partnership empowers financial organizations with cutting-edge tools for growth and innovation.
Experian’s deepened collaboration with AWS positions it as a leader in data-driven innovation, delivering scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions that transform the financial services landscape.
